The admission process, managed by the Convenor TG EAPCET, typically begins in July or August and concludes by September or October annually.

This year’s admissions follow the established procedure where candidates are ranked based on their performance in the TG EAPCET. Both MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) groups are eligible for these professional pharmacy courses. JNTU Hyderabad, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), oversees the counselling rounds for TS EAMCET.

Admission Process and Seat Allocation

Admissions to B.Pharm and Pharm.D programs are primarily supported through web counseling conducted by the Convenor TG EAPCET, using the ranks secured by candidates in the entrance examination. According to official information, 70% of the available seats are filled via this Convenor quota. The remaining 30% of seats are allocated under the management quota, based on TS EAPCET rank, intermediate merit, or as per specific State Government rules.

The schedule for admissions by the TG EAPCET Convenor is subject to annual variation. Any seats that remain unfilled after the counseling rounds are later filled by individual colleges through spot admission procedures, adhering to State Government regulations. Management Seats (Category-B) are filled by the college management based on what the schedule and rules prescribed by the State Government.

Eligibility Criteria and Counselling Rounds

For TS EAMCET B.Pharm eligibility in 2026, candidates must be Indian Nationals, OCI Card Holders, or PIO. They must also belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana and fulfill the non-local or local status requirements. A minimum age of 17 years as of December 31, 2026, is mandatory, with an upper age limit of 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for SC/ST candidates.

The TS EAMCET cutoff scores fluctuate annually, influenced by factors such as the number of candidates, exam difficulty, and seat availability. A merit list is prepared based on the marks secured by aspirants. It is anticipated that four rounds of TS EAMCET B.Pharm counseling will be conducted: Round 1, Round 2, a Mop-Up Round, and a Stray Vacancy Round. The Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy Rounds are held only if seats remain vacant after the initial two rounds. During counseling, candidates are required to submit documents including their admit card, mark sheet, rank card, and a photo ID.

Several colleges are known to accept candidates within the 50,000 to 70,000 rank range in TS EAMCET 2026 for B.Pharm admissions.
