TS PGECET 2026 M.Pharm, Pharm.D Phase 1 Counselling Registration from 26-31 July: Full Schedule, Eligibility, Next Steps & More

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially opened the online registration and document upload window for Phase 1 counselling of M.Pharm and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) admissions for the 2026–2027 academic session. Eligible GPAT-qualified candidates (from 2024, 2025, and 2026) as well as TS PGECET 2026 rank holders can now log in to the official admission portal at pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in to complete their registration, submit certificates online, and pay the mandatory processing fee. The TS PGECET 2026 MPharm and PharmD counselling phase 1 registration is open from 26th-31st July 2026.

Phase 1 web counselling covers seats across government, university, aided, and self-financing pharmacy colleges across Telangana. Candidates are advised to complete their registration early to allow adequate time for document verification before choice filling begins.

Eligibility Criteria for TS PGECET 2026 M.Pharm and Pharm.D Counselling

To be eligible for web counselling and subsequent seat allocation, candidates must meet the following parameters set by TGCHE:

  • Nationality & Domicile: Must be an Indian national and satisfy the local/non-local status criteria of Telangana as per G.O. Ms. No. 153.

  • Academic Qualification: Must have passed B.Pharmacy from a recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% aggregate for BC/SC/ST categories).

  • Entrance Test Qualification:

    • Valid GPAT score (2024, 2025, or 2026).

    • Qualified rank in TS PGECET 2026 (Minimum cutoff marks apply for General and BC categories, while SC/ST candidates need to have appeared in the exam).

  • Seat Preference Note: GPAT candidates are given priority during seat allotment; leftover seats after GPAT allocation are allotted to TS PGECET rank holders.

How to Register for TS PGECET 2026 M.Pharm, Pharm.D Phase 1 Counselling?

Candidates can complete their registration on the official portal by following these simple steps:

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in.

  2. Click Registration Link: Select the link for “M.Pharm / Pharm.D (P.B.) Phase 1 Online Registration”.

  3. Authentication: Enter your TS PGECET / GPAT Hall Ticket Number and Rank.

  4. Pay Processing Fee: Complete the online application fee payment via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.

  5. Upload Documents: Scan and upload clear copies of all required academic and personal certificates.

  6. Submit & Print: Verify all details, submit the application, and save/print the confirmation slip for future reference.

Documents Required for TS PGECET 2026 Counselling Registration

Candidates must upload clear, legible scanned copies of original documents during registration:

  • TS PGECET 2026 Rank Card / GPAT Scorecard

  • TS PGECET 2026 Hall Ticket

  • B.Pharmacy Degree / Provisional Certificate (PC) & Consolidated Marks Memo (CMM)

  • Intermediate / 10+2 Pass Certificate

  • SSC (10th) Pass Certificate or equivalent for proof of Date of Birth

  • Bonafide / Study Certificates from Class IX through Graduation

  • Residence Certificate for preceding 10 years (if applicable for private/distance mode candidates)

  • Integrated Community / Caste Certificate (issued post June 2, 2014) for BC/SC/ST candidates

Candidates must pay the TS PGECET 2026 counselling registration and processing fee online through the payment gateway available on the official counselling portal.

 What to Do After Registering for TS PGECET 2026 MPharm/Pharm Counselling?

After completing the registration process, candidates need to complete the following steps to participate in the seat allotment process:

  • Complete Certificate Verification: Candidates must complete the document verification process and check their verification status on the official portal.
  • Check Eligible Candidates List: Candidates should verify their name and eligibility status in the list of qualified candidates released after verification.
  • Enter Web Options: Eligible candidates must log in and submit their preferred choices of colleges and M.Pharm/Pharm.D programmes.
  • Modify Submitted Choices: Candidates can review and edit their selected options during the given option editing window.
  • Check Seat Allotment Result: Candidates must download their provisional seat allotment order after the allotment results are announced.
  • Pay Admission Fee: Candidates allotted a seat need to pay the required fee online to confirm their admission.

TS PGECET 2026 Web Options Entry and Seat Allotment Details

  • Exercising Options: Eligible candidates whose documents pass verification can log in from August 4 to August 6, 2026, to enter their preferred colleges and specializations (e.g., Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Quality Assurance, Clinical Pharmacy).

  • Option Editing: A single-day window on August 7, 2026, will allow candidates to re-order or modify their saved choices before final locking.

  • Seat Allocation Rule: Allotments are calculated based on GPAT score / TS PGECET rank, category reservation rules, local status, and college preferences.

TS PGECET 2026 M.Pharm, Pharm.D Seat Allotment Result and Reporting Process

  1. Results Publication: The Phase 1 provisional seat allotment list will be published on the portal on August 10, 2026.

  2. Provisional Allotment Order: Selected candidates must download their provisional allotment letter and tuition fee payment challan from the portal.

  3. Physical Reporting: Candidates must physically visit their allotted college between August 11 and August 14, 2026, submit original certificates for physical verification, and present the tuition fee payment receipt to confirm admission.
