Universal AI University (UAU) in Karjat, Mumbai, Maharashtra, has announced the opening of admissions for its undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic session 2027-28. The application window for prospective students is currently open, with admissions having commenced on March 02, 2026.

Admission Process and Entrance Test Details

The admission process for Universal AI University includes an entrance test, which is a mandatory component for most applicants. The test is designed to assess candidates across multiple parameters and has a duration of 90 minutes. It comprises 100 questions, and notably, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The entrance test format includes an Aptitude Test, a Psychometric Test, and a Design App. The content of the test is divided into five sections, each carrying a 20% weightage:

Universal AI University offers a diverse range of programmes, with popular choices including BA (Hons), Global BBA, Executive MBA, and PhD. The university also features exclusive courses such as B.Tech in Sound Engineering and BA in Music and Audio Production.

A notable offering is the BBA in AI degree, structured as a 4-year Honours with Research programme. Students who achieve 75% marks and above in the first six semesters of the BBA program have the option to choose a research stream in their fourth year. Further credit distribution includes Attitude (AT) with 12 credits (8%) and Green / Sustainability (GS) with 8 credits (5%). These categories collectively form the 160 credits for the BBA program, with Experiential Learning, which comprises LW, SD, AT, and GS, making up 60% of the curriculum.
