UP Board exam center list 2027: final approved list by October 17

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released a revised schedule for the selection of examination centers for the upcoming UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams in 2027. The process, which commenced on August 24, 2026, is set to wrap up with the upload of the final approved list by October 17, 2026, on the official website, upmsp.edu.in.

This revised schedule outlines the various stages involved in determining the centers where students will appear for their board examinations. The Class 10 and 12 examinations for 2027 are scheduled to be conducted between February 5 and February 24, 2027, with practical exams planned for January-February and February 2027 in two phases. The board expects to use over 8,000 centers across 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh for these offline, pen-and-paper examinations, which will have a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Revised Timeline for Center Selection

The UPMSP has detailed a specific timeline for the selection of examination centers, beginning with schools uploading their infrastructure details. This complete process involves multiple stages of verification and approval by district and tehsil-level committees before the final list is published.

Schools seeking to become examination centers were required to submit online applications on upmsp.edu.in by August 24, 2026. Following this, physical verification of basic information was conducted on September 3, 2026. The verification reports and committee approvals were uploaded by September 12, 2026. The proposed exam center list and student allocation were later published on September 21, 2026, with a list of eligible and ineligible schools displayed on September 23, 2026. Objections to the proposed center list were invited after its publication on September 28, 2026, with the disposal of these objections and the final approval process completed by October 8, 2026. The approved exam center list with student allocation is scheduled for upload by October 17, 2026.

Examination Schedule and Center Details

The UP Board has announced the dates for the Class 10 and 12 examinations for 2027, alongside details regarding the practical exams and the mode of assessment. The final district-wise center list is anticipated to be released in December 2026.

The high school and Intermediate examinations 2027 will be conducted in February and March 2027, specifically from February 5 to February 24, 2027. Practical exams are scheduled in two phases: Phase 1 in January-February 2027 and Phase 2 in February 2027. The examinations will be conducted offline, using a pen-and-paper format, with an exam duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes. Last year, in 2026, UP Board exams were held at 8,033 centers, a number expected to be similar or slightly higher for the 2027 exams, which will span across 75 districts. Students will be able to download the district-wise final UP Board center list 2027 for Class 10 and 12 from the board’s portal, upmsp.edu.in, once it is released in December 2026.
