Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

Before you start your application, ensure you meet the following requirements:

1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a B.Pharm, M.Sc. (relevant branch), or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks (or 6.75 CGPA). There is a relaxation for SC/ST (55%) and PwD (50%) candidates.

2. Qualifying Exam: A valid GPAT, GATE, or NET score is mandatory for most programs. However, certain degree holders like M.B.B.S. or B.V.Sc. and sponsored candidates may be exempt from this requirement.

3. Final Year Students: If you are appearing for your final year exams in 2026, you are also eligible to apply, provided you can produce your results at the time of counseling.

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply for NIPER JEE 2026

The application process is conducted entirely online. Follow these steps to complete your registration smoothly:

Step 1: Online Registration

Visit the official website at niper.gov.in/niperjee2026. Click on the “New Registration” link and enter your basic details like name, email ID, and mobile number. You will receive login credentials on your registered email.

Step 2: Payment of Application Fee

Unlike many other exams, NIPER usually requires fee payment before filling out the detailed form.

• SC/ST: ₹2,000

Step 3: Filling the Application Form

Log in using your credentials and fill in your academic details, GPAT/GATE scores, and preferred exam centers.

You will need to upload scanned copies of:

• Passport-sized Photograph: JPEG format, below 70 KB.

• Signature: JPEG format, below 70 KB.

• Valid ID Proof: (Aadhar, PAN, etc.) in PDF format.

Exam Pattern and Preparation

The NIPER JEE 2026 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be solved in 2 hours. The medium of the exam is English.

Warning: There is a negative marking of 25% (0.125 or 0.25 marks depending on the section’s weightage) for every wrong answer, so accuracy is just as important as speed.
