ICSE, ISC improvement exam 2026 admit cards released; exams from June 15

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the admit cards and detailed schedule for the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 improvement examinations 2026. School authorities are now able to download the hall tickets from the official website, cisce.org, using their School Login ID and Password.

These improvement exams are designed for students aiming to enhance their previous scores or for those who did not pass in one or two subjects. The examinations are set to commence on June 15, 2026, with the ICSE Class 10 exams concluding on June 30, 2026, and the ISC Class 12 exams on July 1, 2026.

Admit Card Download and Collection Process

School authorities are responsible for downloading the CISCE hall tickets for the ICSE and ISC board exams. Students cannot directly download their improvement hall tickets. Instead, they must collect their admit cards from their respective schools after school heads have signed and distributed them.

The admit card will contain essential details including the student’s name, roll number, school’s name, registration number, examination center code, subject name, and subject code. Students are required to carry their admit card along with one photo-identity proof to the examination centre. Electronic items are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall, while students are permitted to bring a pen, pencil, and geometry box. Any student found engaging in cheating or copying will be debarred from the examination.

ICSE and ISC Improvement Exam Schedule 2026

The improvement examinations for both ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 will run from mid-June to early July 2026. The ICSE 10th Improvement Exam will be held in the morning shift, from 11 am to 1 pm. The application window for these improvement exams was open from May 8 to 14, 2026. Students were eligible to appear for improvement exams in a maximum of one or two subjects.

The ICSE 10th Result 2026 was announced on April 28, 2026. Eligibility for the ICSE Class 10 improvement exam was extended to students who had received PCA (Pass Certificate Awarded), PCNA (Pass Certificate not Awarded), SPCA (Supplementary Pass Certificate Awarded), or SPCNA (Supplementary Pass Certificate not Awarded). Students marked Absent during the main board exams were not permitted to appear for the improvement exams.

Key Dates and Result Declaration

The improvement exam results are tentatively anticipated by the last week of July 2026. The passing certificate will be issued after the re-evaluation results are announced. Students who do not achieve passing marks in the improvement exam will be required to appear for the regular board exams in the subsequent academic year.

Prior to the improvement exams, the recheck request window was from May 1 to 4, 2026, with recheck results expected in the first week of June 2026. The request for re-evaluation was open one day after the declaration of the recheck results, and the re-evaluation results were expected in the last week of June or the first week of July 2026.
