AEEE Slot Booking Process: Choose Your Exam Time

The AEEE slot booking is a “First-Come, First-Served” process. Since multiple candidates access the portal at once, popular slots often fill up within hours.

Steps to Book Your Slot:

  • Log in to the Amrita Online Admissions Portal (AOAP) using your registered email ID or mobile number.

  • Select your preferred test date from the available calendar.

  • Choose one of the three available time slots per day (typically 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 4:00 PM).

  • Review your selected test center and time carefully. Once confirmed, you cannot change these details later.

  • Click “Confirm Slot” to finalize.

Note: If you do not book a slot by April 18, the university will automatically assign a slot to you based on availability, which might not be your preferred location or time.

AEEE 2026 Exam Pattern & Preparation

This year, candidates should note the inclusion of a Quantitative Aptitude section. The exam is 150 minutes long and consists of 100 questions.

  • Mathematics: 40 Questions

  • Physics: 25 Questions

  • Chemistry: 20 Questions

  • Quantitative Aptitude: 10 Questions

  • English: 5 Questions

Each correct answer earns 3 marks, while a wrong answer results in a -1 mark penalty.

What Happens After April 18?

Once the registration and slot booking window closes, the university will release the Phase 2 Admit Cards on April 21, 2026. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID (like an Aadhaar Card) to the exam center. The exams will be conducted across various cities in India and Dubai in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.

For students appearing in both phases, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will consider the best of the two scores for the final ranking and counseling process.
