Candidates who appeared for the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) counselling and submitted their web options can now check their seat allotment status online by logging into cap.apcfss.in.
The Phase 1 seat allotment process covers approximately 55,960 lateral entry seats across 240 participating engineering and pharmacy colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Along with the individual allotment letters, APSCHE is expected to release the official college-wise opening and closing rank cutoff list.

What to Do After AP ECET Seat Allotment Result?
Once the allotment order is downloaded, candidates must complete the following critical procedures within the specified deadline to secure their admission:
1. Mandatory Online Self-Reporting
Candidates must log into the portal and complete the online self-reporting process. Failing to complete self-reporting before the deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of the allotted seat, and the seat will be offered to other candidates in subsequent rounds.
2. Choosing Admission Options (Freeze / Float / Slide)

Freeze: Select this option if you are completely satisfied with your allotted college and course and do not wish to participate in Phase II counselling.

Float / Slide: Choose this option if you wish to accept the current seat provisionally but remain eligible for a higher preference branch or college in the second round.
3. Physical Reporting at Allotted College
After online self-reporting, candidates must physically report to the allotted engineering college with their original academic documents, fee receipts, and seat allotment letter.

Popular streams like Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics & Communication (ECE), and Mechanical Engineering continue to see high competition across premier state universities and autonomous institutes. Candidates who do not secure a seat in Phase 1 can participate in Phase 2 / Final Phase counselling.
