AP EDCET 2026: Submit Phase 1 web options by October 18

The web option entry for AP EDCET 2026 Phase 1 counselling began on October 14, 2026, and will conclude on October 18, 2026. This process, conducted by Dravidian University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), is for admission to B.Ed and B.Ed Special Education programmes in colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates who have qualified AP EDCET 2026 and completed the registration, fee payment, and online certificate verification processes are eligible to submit their choices via the official counselling portal, cap.apcfss.in. Aadhaar-based authentication is mandatory for direct applications through the Common Admission Portal (CAP).

Counselling Schedule and Key Deadlines

The online certificate verification for eligible candidates has been ongoing since October 6, 2026, and will continue until October 19, 2026. Special category certificate verification was conducted on October 13, 2026. Following the web option entry period, candidates will have an opportunity to modify their submitted choices on October 19, 2026.

The Phase 1 seat allotment result is slated for October 23, 2026. Later, selected candidates must complete self-reporting to their allotted colleges between October 24 and October 27, 2026, to confirm their admissions. The registration and fee payment window for Phase 1 counselling closed on October 12, 2026, having commenced on October 5, 2026.

Background of AP EDCET 2026

The AP EDCET 2026 examination was conducted on May 8, 2026, in two shifts: Shift I from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Shift II from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The preliminary key for the exam was released on May 12, 2026, with the deadline for objections set for May 14, 2026. The results and ranks for AP EDCET 2026 were declared on May 26, 2026.

The application process for AP EDCET 2026 commenced on February 11, 2026, following the notification issued on February 3, 2026. The last date for submitting online applications without a late fee was March 26, 2026. Subsequent deadlines for applications with late fees ranged from March 29 to April 7, 2026. Corrections to submitted applications were allowed on April 8, 2026, and hall tickets were available for download from April 20, 2026.
