The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the Round 3 merit list for WB NEET UG 2026 counselling, alongside the seat matrix for MBBS and BDS admissions. Verified candidates are now able to fill their choices for preferred medical and dental colleges, with the deadline set for 10 am on October 4, 2026.

The merit list and seat matrix were published on the official portal, wbmcc.nic.in, after 5 pm on October 1, 2026. This round of counselling is for admission to 85% State Quota MBBS and BDS seats, as well as 100% Management Quota and NRI Quota seats in West Bengal.

Round 3 Counselling Schedule and Key Dates

The choice filling window for Round 3 opened at 6 pm on October 1, 2026, and will close at 10 am on October 4, 2026. Only candidates whose documents were verified between September 29 and October 1, 2026, are eligible to participate in this round. The WBMCC prepares the state rank list based on NEET UG 2026 All India Rank, category, and West Bengal domicile.

Following the choice filling, the Round 3 seat allotment result is scheduled to be declared after 4 pm on October 8, 2026. Candidates who secure a seat will need to report to their allotted colleges for admission on October 12, 13, and 14, 2026, between 10 am and 4 pm. This marks the last physical reporting round before the online stray vacancy round.

Counselling Fees and Payment Details

The registration and online fee payment for Round 3 were conducted from September 28 (11 am) to September 30 (midnight), 2026. The counselling fee for unreserved (UR) candidates was Rs 2,000, while for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, and PwD candidates, it was Rs 1,500. Payments could be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

Candidates are advised to review the Round 3 seat matrix, which lists live vacancies in government and private medical and dental colleges across West Bengal, before making their selections. After filling choices, candidates must lock their preferences and download the final locked choice list for their records.

Subsequent Stray Vacancy Round

The WBMCC will conduct an online stray vacancy round after the Round 3 reporting period concludes. Registration for this subsequent round is scheduled from October 15 (11 am) to October 16 (6 pm), 2026. The fee payment window for the stray vacancy round will remain active until midnight on October 16, 2026.

The stray vacancy allotment result will be declared by 12 noon on October 23, 2026. candidates who do not participate in the Round 3 choice filling will not be eligible to participate in the stray vacancy allotment. The WB NEET UG Round 2 Seat Allotment 2026 was declared on September 15, 2026, with physical reporting from September 16 to September 18, 2026.
