NEET UG 2026: Report by Oct 26. Bihar UGMAC: Admit by Oct 17

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is scheduled to release the NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round result on October 19, 2026. This follows the conclusion of the registration, fee payment, and choice filling processes, which were extended to October 16, 2026, for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. courses under the All India Quota.

Simultaneously, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is concluding the document verification and admission process for Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 3 today, October 17, 2026. This round addresses admissions for medical and dental seats within Bihar, with a corrigendum issued regarding the ‘Freeze’ status for certain allotted candidates.

MCC NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round Schedule and Reporting

The seat allotment processing for the MCC NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round took place on October 17 and 18, 2026. Following the result declaration on October 19, 2026, candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their respective institutions and complete admission formalities between October 19 and October 26, 2026. The registration deadline for this round was extended to October 16, 2026, at 4 PM, with the fee payment deadline set for 6 PM on the same day. Choice filling and locking concluded by 11:55 PM on October 16, 2026.

The MCC had initially released the full schedule for NEET counselling 2026 on August 1, 2026, following the NEET UG 2026 Result Declaration Date on July 16, 2026. The final online stray vacancy round registration was open from October 12, 2026, to October 14, 2026, before its extension.

Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 3 Admissions and Corrigendum

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) released the provisional seat allotment result for Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 3 on October 14, 2026. The window for downloading the provisional allotment order was from October 14 to October 17, 2026. Document verification and admission for this round are scheduled so today, October 17, 2026.

A corrigendum, dated October 14, 2026, was issued by BCECEB for UGMAC-2026 Round-3 counselling. Due to a technical issue, all candidates allotted B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. seats in this round are to be treated as “Freeze” candidates, meaning they cannot opt for an upgrade. MBBS or BDS allottees in Bihar UGMAC Round 3 also remain “Freeze” candidates. Candidates who do not report for document verification or fail to take admission after allotment in Bihar UGMAC Round 3 will forfeit their security deposit and have their seat cancelled.
