Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 stray vacancy round registration starts: apply by October 17

The Office of Chairman, NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board 2026, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, has initiated the registration process for the Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS and BDS admissions. Fresh candidates can register online at ug.neetrajasthan.com starting October 16, 2026.

This round aims to fill the remaining vacant seats in medical and dental colleges across Rajasthan following the conclusion of previous counselling rounds. Registration and Application Deadlines

Candidates interested in participating in the Stray Vacancy Round must complete their online registration and pay the application fee by specific deadlines. Following fee payment, candidates are required to submit both parts of the online application form by 8 PM on October 17, 2026.

The non-refundable registration fee varies by category. General and other applicable categories must pay INR 2500, while Rajasthan domicile SC, ST, and ST-STA candidates are required to pay INR 1500. Candidates who have previously deposited the applicable security amount in an earlier round generally do not need to deposit it again, subject to specific notification conditions. However, those required to pay a difference amount must do so to be considered for the relevant seat type. Candidates whose security deposit was forfeited for not joining a Round 2 seat are subject to separate requirements.

Counselling Schedule and Allotment Process

Following the registration period, a series of steps are scheduled for the Stray Vacancy Round. Offline document verification and original document submission will take place from October 18 to 20, 2026, between 9 AM and 4 PM. The provisional combined merit list will then be published on October 20, 2026.

Online choice filling for eligible candidates is scheduled from October 19 to 21, 2026. Choices will be auto-locked on October 21, 2026, at 11:45 PM. The provisional seat allotment result is expected to be released on October 22, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats can download their allotment letters and complete reporting and admission formalities at their respective institutes from October 22 to 26, 2026.
