Delhi Police Constable Driver PET: Download admit card by October 5, 2026

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), in collaboration with Delhi Police, released the admit cards for the Delhi Police Constable Driver Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) on September 26, 2026. Candidates who qualified the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Constable (Driver) vacancies can now download their e-admission certificates from the official regional website, sscnr.nic.in.

The physical tests are scheduled to take place from October 3 to October 5, 2026. This recruitment drive is being conducted for 660 Constable (Driver) vacancies in Delhi Police as part of the 2025 examination cycle.

Admit Card Download and Test Schedule

Candidates can access their admit cards by providing their registration ID or roll number, father’s name, and date of birth on the sscnr.nic.in portal. It is mandatory for all candidates to download and print their e-admission certificates before appearing for the physical test.

The recruiting authorities revised the physical test schedule due to weather-related delays. The updated schedule for various posts is detailed below:

Physical Endurance and Measurement Standards

The physical endurance test is qualifying in nature, requiring candidates to meet specific standards for the 1,600-metre race, long jump, and high jump based on their age group. Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed physical measurement requirements.

The minimum height requirement for Constable (Driver) is 170 cm, with a 5 cm relaxation provided for eligible candidates from hill areas and Scheduled Tribes. The chest measurement must be between 81-85 cm, with a minimum expansion of 4 cm.

Next Steps for Qualified Candidates

Candidates who successfully qualify the PE&MT will proceed to the Driving Trade Test. This test carries a total of 150 marks and is divided into three components: light motor vehicle driving, heavy motor vehicle driving, and vehicle maintenance and traffic rules. Each component is allocated 50 marks.

To pass the Driving Trade Test, candidates must secure a minimum of 25 marks in each of the three components. For the physical test, candidates are required to carry their printed admit card, a valid photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or driving licence, and recent passport-size photographs.
