UPSC CAPF AC physical admit card 2026 released: download before 13 October tests

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today, 30 September 2026, released the call letters for the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Detailed Medical Examination (DME) for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2026. These admit cards are for candidates who successfully qualified the written examination.

Eligible candidates can download their hall tickets from the official SSB recruitment website, recruitment.ssb.gov.in, or upsconline.gov.in. The physical tests are scheduled to take place from 13 to 16 October 2026, marking the next stage in the recruitment process for 349 Assistant Commandant positions across various paramilitary forces.

UPSC CAPF Ac 2026 Recruitment Timeline

The recruitment process for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2026 commenced with online applications opening on 20 February 2026. The deadline for registration and fee payment was 12 March 2026, at 06:00 PM. The written examination was conducted on 19 July 2026, with admit cards for this stage made available on 10 July 2026.

Following the written examination, the answer key was released on 22 July 2026. The results for the written examination were published on 25 August 2026, and a name-wise list of qualified candidates was later released on 08 September 2026. The current release of physical admit cards on 30 September 2026 precedes the PST/PET stage.

Physical and Medical Examination Requirements

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) includes various events, such as running, long jump, and shot put, with specific requirements for male and female candidates. Male candidates are required to complete a 100-meter race in 16 seconds and an 800-meter race in 3 minutes 45 seconds. They must also perform a long jump of 3.5 meters (in 3 chances) and a shot put (7.26 Kgs) of 4.5 meters. Female candidates need to complete a 100-meter race in 18 seconds and an 800-meter race in 4 minutes 45 seconds, along with a long jump of 3 meters (in 3 chances).

Physical standards include a minimum height of 165 CMS for male candidates and 157 CMS for female candidates. Male candidates also require a chest measurement of 81-86 CMS. Candidates must carry a clear printout of their admit card, two passport-sized photographs, and a valid photo ID to the physical test center. Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

The UPSC CAPF AC Examination 2026 aims to fill a total of 349 Assistant Commandant posts across five Central Armed Police Forces. The distribution of vacancies includes 106 in CRPF, 108 in BSF, 70 in CISF, 53 in SSB, and 12 in ITBP.

To be eligible for the examination, candidates were required to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university. The minimum age limit for candidates was 20 years as on 01 August 2026, and the maximum age limit was 25 years as on 01 August 2026. This meant candidates must have been born not earlier than 02 August 2001 and not later than 01 August 2006. The application fee was Rs. 200 for General and OBC candidates, while SC/ST and female candidates were exempted from paying any fee.
