Assistant Teacher Vacancies and Examination Details
The recruitment drive, notified under Advertisement Number F-20/2026/3202, aims to fill 2,294 Assistant Teacher posts. Of the total vacancies, 795 are designated for the E-Cadre, and 1,499 are for the T-Cadre. The examination will be conducted in an offline OMR-based mode across 16 District Headquarters in Chhattisgarh.

Application Process and Eligibility Criteria
The application process for these posts was conducted from July 24 to August 21, 2026. An application correction window was also provided from August 22 to August 24, 2026. Candidates aged between 21 and 35 years as on January 1, 2026, were eligible to apply, subject to applicable age relaxation rules.
Applicants were required to have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks, along with a two-year D.El.Ed, four-year B.El.Ed, or D.Ed in Special Education. Also, candidates needed to have qualified either the CG TET or CTET. The selection process involves a written examination, followed by document verification and a medical examination.

Application Fees and Refund Policy
The application fee for General/Unreserved category candidates was Rs. 350/-. For Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates, the fee was Rs. 250/-, and for SC/ST/Divyang (PwD) categories, it was Rs. 200/-. The application fee had to be paid online at the time of filling the application form.
Local resident candidates of Chhattisgarh who appear for the examination are eligible for a refund of their examination fee. The refund will be processed to the same bank account used for payment, after the declaration of the exam result.

Instructions for Candidates
Candidates are advised to visit vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in, access the admit card section, and enter the required login details to download their hall ticket. It is mandatory to take a printout of the admit card. On the day of the examination, candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card and one original photo ID proof to the examination centre. The admit card should be preserved even after the exam, as it may be required again at the time of document verification, selection, or joining.
