AP ICET 2nd counselling: Register by 3rd week September 2026

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is conducting the second phase of AP ICET 2026 counselling for MBA and MCA admissions. As of today, 19 September 2026, the last date for Phase 2 registration is scheduled for the third week of September 2026.

This second phase aims to fill the substantial number of MBA and MCA seats that remained vacant after the completion of Phase 1. More than 21,000 candidates qualified in the AP ICET 2026 entrance test, with 46,464 MBA and MCA seats initially available for admissions.

Overview of AP ICET 2026 Counselling Phases

The AP ICET 2026 examination was held on 2 May 2026, with the results and rank cards released on 16 May 2026. Phase 1 of the counselling process saw online certificate verification from 25 August to 4 September 2026, following a revised schedule that extended the deadline for registration and processing fee payment until 4 September 2026.

Web options entry for Phase 1 was conducted from 27 August to 4 September 2026, with an option for editing or changing choices on 5 September 2026. The Phase 1 seat allotment result was released on 9 September 2026. Candidates who secured seats in Phase 1 were required to complete self-reporting and report to their allotted colleges between 9 September and 12 September 2026, with a final deadline of 14 September 2026 for reporting to the allotted college. Classes for Phase 1 commenced on 9 September 2026.

Seat Allotment and Vacancies

Out of the total 46,464 MBA and MCA seats available for AP ICET 2026 admissions, 8,059 seats were allotted in Phase 1. This leaves a significant number of seats, potentially 38,405, for subsequent counselling phases. Specifically, 5,306 MBA seats were allotted out of 29,762 available, leaving 24,456 MBA seats. For MCA, 2,753 seats were allotted from 16,702, leaving 13,949 MCA seats.

The second phase of counselling will be conducted to address these remaining vacancies. A provisional vacant seat list for Phase 2 is anticipated to be released by the APSCHE. Candidates who did not participate in Phase 1 or were not allotted seats may be eligible for Phase 2, subject to official rules.

Registration and Fee Details for Phase 2

For candidates participating in AP ICET 2nd Counselling 2026, the counselling fee is ₹1,250 for OC and OBC category candidates, and ₹650 for SC, ST, and PH category candidates. Candidates who have already registered and paid the fees in Phase 1 are not required to pay the fees again for Phase 2.

The counselling process is conducted through the official AP ICET/APSCHE counselling system. Candidates are advised to use the official portal, cap.apcfss.in, for all counselling-related activities once Phase 2 registration commences.
