Indus Business Academy (IBA), Bangalore, began accepting online applications for its two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program for the 2027-29 batch on October 20, 2026. The institution, located in Bangalore, is inviting prospective students to apply for its flagship management program.

IBA Bangalore is recognised among the top 1% of colleges in India and is one of only 56 out of more than 5,000 colleges in the country to hold an International Accreditation by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).

Eligibility Criteria for PGDM 2027-29

To be eligible for the PGDM program at IBA Bangalore, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field from a statutory University approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), with a minimum of 50% marks. For applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, the minimum marks required in their Bachelor’s degree is 45%.

Students who are currently in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree program are also eligible to apply for the 2027-29 batch. A crucial requirement for all applicants is to have appeared for one of the specified entrance tests and to submit a photocopy of their score card along with the application form.

Accepted Entrance Examinations and Institutional Rankings

IBA Bangalore accepts scores from a range of national and state-level entrance examinations for its PGDM admissions. These include CAT 2026, XAT 2027, NMAT 2026, MAT 2026/27, CMAT 2027, ATMA 2027, GMAT/GRE 2026/2027, and State Government Entrance Tests – 2026 such as MAH-CET, KMAT, and PGCET.

The institution has consistently featured in various national rankings. In 2022, IBA Bangalore was placed among the Top 125 B-Schools in the country under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The same year, it achieved an All India rank of 23 in the Competition Success Review (CSR) B-School Survey and a rank of 28 in the Outlook B-School Survey. Furthermore, in 2020, IBA Bangalore was recognised as one of the Top Education Brands under the category of Excellence and Innovation in Management at the BW Education Leadership Summit, where it also received a ‘Special Mention’ by the jury, which included the Chairman of AICTE and the Mission Director of Atal Innovation Mission.
