The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), in collaboration with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), and The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), has officially commenced registration for the Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026 today, July 15, 2026. Interested candidates can now apply online through the SWAYAM Plus Portal and the official websites of MCA, ICAI, ICSI, and ICoAI. This will be a 12-month long online course costing Rs. 3,000 plus GST. Students with graduation (or in final year of graduation) up to 30 years of age can apply for this course. What is the Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026?

The Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026, announced in the Union Budget 2026-27, aims to create a network of trained and certified paraprofessionals to help MSMEs manage business operations and statutory compliances. The initiative is designed to improve ease of doing business and support the government’s Viksit Bharat vision.

The scheme is jointly implemented by ICAI, ICSI, and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). Following the Budget announcement, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs finalised the scheme guidelines and partnered with institutions such as IIT Madras, IIT Pravartak, and Swayam Plus for its implementation. ICAI will also conduct training, awareness programmes, and continuous skill development for Corporate Mitras, with a focus on expanding access in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.

Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals.
  • The maximum age limit for applicants is 30 years as on the date of application.
  • Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university or be students in their final year of graduation.

The scheme will initially accommodate 2,000 candidates, with a dedicated allocation of 200 participants from the North Eastern Region. Admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible candidates.

How to Apply for Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026

Candidates interested in applying for the Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026 can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official SWAYAM Plus Portal or the websites of the MCA, ICAI, ICSI or ICMAI.
  2. Locate the ‘Corporate Mitra Scheme’ registration link on the homepage.
  3. Click on the registration link and proceed to fill out the application form with all required personal and academic details.
  4. Upload necessary documents, including proof of age, educational qualifications, and any documents required for fee concession.
  5. Pay the application fee of ₹3,000 plus applicable GST. Eligible candidates may avail a 50% concession.
  6. Review the application form thoroughly before final submission.
  7. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

The SWAYAM Plus Portal will serve as the centralized platform for registration, learning, assessments, training coordination, and overall administration of the scheme. A dedicated online grievance management system will also be available through the portal.
