What is the Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026?
The Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026, announced in the Union Budget 2026-27, aims to create a network of trained and certified paraprofessionals to help MSMEs manage business operations and statutory compliances. The initiative is designed to improve ease of doing business and support the government’s Viksit Bharat vision.
The scheme is jointly implemented by ICAI, ICSI, and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). Following the Budget announcement, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs finalised the scheme guidelines and partnered with institutions such as IIT Madras, IIT Pravartak, and Swayam Plus for its implementation. - Candidates must be Indian nationals.
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 30 years as on the date of application.
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university or be students in their final year of graduation.
The scheme will initially accommodate 2,000 candidates, with a dedicated allocation of 200 participants from the North Eastern Region. Admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible candidates.
