JAC Class 10, 12 compartmental results out: check

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) today, September 30, 2026, released the results for the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) Compartmental/Special Examinations 2026. Students who appeared for these examinations across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams can now check their scores on the official websites, jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com.

These supplementary examinations were conducted in August 2026 to provide an opportunity for candidates to pass subjects they had failed in the annual board examinations or to improve their academic performance, thereby preventing them from losing an academic year. The release of these results follows the annual examination results for Class 10 on April 23, 2026, and Class 12 on May 6, 2026.

Accessing the JAC Compartmental Results 2026

To check their results, students are required to use their roll number and roll code. The online scorecard will provide detailed information, including marks obtained in each subject (both theory and practical components), the overall qualification status, and any new divisions secured. This provisional marksheet can be downloaded and used for immediate admissions into undergraduate courses, Class 11 streams, or other higher education institutes for the 2026-27 academic year.

The official portals for checking the results are jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com. Students are advised to preserve their downloaded provisional results until they receive the official marksheet or certificate from their respective schools or the board.

Examination Schedule and Other Recent Results

The Class 10 Compartment Exams were conducted by the JAC from August 7 to August 12, 2026. For Class 12, the Compartment Exams took place from August 7 to August 14, 2026. These examinations are a regular feature of the academic calendar, allowing students to re-attempt subjects.

Besides the Class 10 and 12 compartmental results, the JAC also released other special examination results. The results for Class VIII Special Examination – 2026 were also released on September 30, 2026. Also, the results for Class IX Special Examination – 2026 and Class XI Special Examination – 2026 were announced on September 29, 2026.
