Bihar Board Class 11 Quarterly Exam 2026-27: schedule released for September 19-27

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the examination schedule for the Class 11 Quarterly Examination 2026, alongside the half-yearly examinations for students of Classes 9, 10, 11, and 12. These examinations are set to take place throughout September 2026 across Bihar, aiming to evaluate students’ academic progress and prepare them for their annual examinations.

The Class 11 Quarterly Examination 2026, covering the academic session 2026-28, is scheduled from September 19, 2026, to September 27, 2026. Concurrently, the half-yearly exams for Class 11 (academic session 2026-27) will run from September 18 to September 22, 2026. Half-yearly exams for Classes 9 and 10 are slated for September 21 to September 23, 2026, while Class 12 half-yearly exams will be held from September 18 to September 26, 2026.

Bihar Board Class 11 Quarterly and Half-Yearly Exam Details

The Bihar Board 11th Quarterly Examination 2026 will be conducted in an offline, written mode across two shifts. The first shift is scheduled from 09:30 AM to 12:45 PM, and the second shift from 02:00 PM to 05:15 PM. Students will be provided with a 15-minute ‘Cool Off Time’ before the commencement of both shifts. This examination serves as an initial evaluation of students’ subject understanding and writing ability, helping them assess their preparation for the annual examination.

For the Class 11 half-yearly exams, subjects from Science, Commerce, Arts, and other streams will be covered. These exams will also follow a two-shift pattern, with the first sitting from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and the second sitting from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. The BSEB has also released the latest Class 11 syllabus for the academic session 2026–27, available in PDF format in both Hindi and English mediums. The exam pattern for Class 11 includes both objective and subjective question types, with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Home Science incorporating both theory and practical examinations.

Half-Yearly Examination Schedule for Classes 9, 10, and 12

The half-yearly examinations for Classes 9 and 10 are scheduled from September 21 to September 23, 2026. These exams will also be conducted in two shifts: a morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and an afternoon shift from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. These half-yearly assessments are crucial for students as they prepare for their school-level examinations.

Class 12 half-yearly exams for 2026 are set to begin on September 18, 2026, and will continue until September 26, 2026. The specific shift timings for Class 12 exams align with those for other classes.
