The exams will cover the syllabus taught up to mid-November of the current academic session and will be conducted in two shifts: 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and 1:15 PM to 4:30 PM, depending on the subject.

However, due to ongoing panchayat elections across the state, scheduled between October 8 and November 25, 2026, and the upcoming Diwali vacation from November 4 to November 15, 2026, the Rajasthan Education Department has sent a proposal to Education Minister Madan Dilawar and the state government to move the half-yearly exams. The new proposal suggests that exams may be held from November 19 to December 5, 2026, after the Diwali vacation concludes. The detailed subject-wise exam dates and times for classes 9, 10, 11, and 12 have not yet been released.

New Examination System for Class 10 Board Exams

This academic session marks a significant change in the examination system for Class 10 students. From the 2026-27 session, students will have two examination opportunities for their board exams.
