The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) has announced the timetable for the Rajasthan Board Class 10 Half-Yearly Exam 2026-27. These school-level examinations are scheduled to take place from October 15 to 29, 2026, across various schools affiliated with the Rajasthan Board.

The half-yearly exams serve as an assessment tool to evaluate students’ academic progress and identify areas requiring improvement before the final RBSE 10th board exams, which are slated for February-March 2027. This academic session marks a significant change in the examination system, offering students two opportunities to appear for the Class 10 board examination.

RBSE Class 10 Half-Yearly Exam Schedule

The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) released the exam schedule for the half-yearly examinations via its official X account. Students can access and download the complete timetable in PDF format from the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Schools affiliated with the Rajasthan Board will organise these exams according to the schedule provided by the education authorities.

The half-yearly exams will cover the syllabus taught up to mid-November of the current academic session. The results from these exams will help assess students’ learning progress and pinpoint specific areas where they might need additional support or focus before the main board examinations.

Changes in the RBSE 10th Board Examination System

From the 2026-27 academic session, Rajasthan Board Class 10 students will have two examination opportunities for their board exams. The main RBSE Class 10 examination is scheduled for February-March 2027, followed by a second remedial examination in May 2027. This new system aims to alleviate examination pressure and offer students greater flexibility in demonstrating their knowledge.

Under the new ‘best of two’ rule, the higher marks obtained by a student in each subject across both the main and remedial examinations will be considered for the final result. Eligible students can appear for improvement in a maximum of three subjects in the RBSE 10th remedial exam 2027. Students are required to secure at least 33% marks, as prescribed by the Rajasthan Board, to qualify for the Class 10 examination.
