Igdtuw MBA Spot Round 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Female graduates with a minimum of 60% marks in their qualifying degree are eligible to participate in this counselling process, if you look at the official announcement from IGDTUW. The university has also specified relaxed eligibility criteria for various reserved categories to ensure inclusive access to its MBA programme.

Candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) and Children/Widows of Defence Personnel (CW) categories require a minimum of 55% marks. In addition, a minimum of 50% marks is mandated for candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, making the programme accessible to a wider demographic of students.

All interested candidates must report by 12 noon on September 14, 2026, at the designated venue to participate in the spot round. This strict reporting time is essential for the smooth conduct of the admission process. The university has clarified that admission is open even to candidates who do not possess a CAT, MAT, or CUET-PG score, broadening the scope for applicants.

Newly registered candidates for this special spot round are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,500. However, candidates who have already registered through the Common Management Admission Committee (CMAC) are exempt from paying this registration fee, streamlining the process for those already in the CMAC system.

Candidates attending the spot round must bring a complete set of documents for verification. This includes three passport-sized photographs and a self-attested printout of their registration form. In addition, original and self-attested copies of Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates are mandatory.

Applicants must also present original and self-attested copies of their graduation marksheet and degree. For final-year candidates, the marksheet of their latest declared result must be submitted. Relevant self-attested scorecards for CAT, MAT, or CUET-PG 2026, if applicable, along with SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PH/CW certificates, if claiming reservation, are also required. A medical fitness certificate and proof of registration fee and academic fee payment, after allotment, are essential for completing the admission formalities.
