TG EAPCET (TS EAMCET) 2026 Phase 2 Counselling: Step-by-Step Guide, Critical Rules & Schedule

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially started the online registration and slot booking for the TG EAPCET (formerly known as TS EAMCET) 2026 Phase 2 Counselling.

If you are aiming for a seat in engineering (M.P.C. stream) or pharmacy across Telangana, this is your next major opportunity to secure a spot or upgrade your previous college allotment. Because this phase runs on a highly condensed timeline, understanding the exact steps and rules is crucial to avoid losing out.

Who is Eligible for Phase 2?

You can participate in this round if you fall into any of these categories:

  • Fresh Applicants: You qualified for the TG EAPCET 2026 exam but missed, ignored, or skipped Phase 1 entirely.

  • No Seat Allotted: You filled out your web options in Phase 1 but were not assigned a college.

  • Seeking an Upgrade: You were allotted a seat in Phase 1 and completed self-reporting, but you want to try for a better branch or a more preferred college.

  • Seat Cancelled/Not Reported: You were allotted a seat in Phase 1 but chose not to accept it, or you failed to self-report online.

TG EAPCET 2026 Counseling Regsitration Process

If you are a new candidate registering for the first time, follow this exact sequence to ensure your registration goes through smoothly:

1. Pay the Processing Fee:

July 17, 2026.

Log on to tgeapcet.nic.in and click “Payment of Processing Fee”. Enter your Registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth. Pay β‚Ή1,200 (for General/BC) or β‚Ή600 (for SC/ST) via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.

2. Book Your Verification Slot:

July 17, 2026.

Directly after payment, book a slot indicating your preferred Helpline Center (HLC), date, and time for physical document verification. Print your slot booking receipt.

3. Attend Certificate Verification:

JulyΒ 18, 2026.

Go to your designated HLC at your booked slot time. Present all original certificates and hand over your photocopies. The officers will issue a “Receipt of Certificates” containing your Login ID.

4. Generate Password & Log In:

July 18, 2026.

Visit the portal homepage, click “Candidate Registration,” and use your Hall Ticket and Rank to generate a secure login password. Use this password, your login ID, and the OTP sent to your phone to log into the option entry system.

5. Submit & Freeze Web Options:

July 18 to July 19, 2026.

Select your preferred districts, filter by college/course, and enter your ranks numerically (e.g., 1 for your top choice, 2 for your second). Save regularly. Ensure you freeze your final selections before the July 19 deadline.

Golden Rules for Web Options

Web options are the single most important part of this process. Keep these two critical points in mind:

  • No Option Carryover: If you participated in Phase 1, those options are deleted. You must enter fresh choices. If you submit nothing, you will not receive an allotment in Phase 2.

  • Upgradation Strategy: If you already have a Phase 1 seat but want to upgrade, only enter options for colleges or branches that are better than your current one. If you are allotted a new seat in Phase 2, your Phase 1 seat is automatically cancelled and given to someone else. You cannot go back to your Phase 1 seat.

Post-Allotment: What’s Next?

When results are released on or before July 22, 2026, check your status on the portal.

If you are allotted a seat:

  1. Online Self-Reporting: Pay any tuition fee required through the site and generate your Seat Allotment Order.

  2. Physical College Reporting: Unlike Phase 1 (which only required online reporting), Phase 2 requires you to physically report to your allotted college between July 25 and July 28, 2026. Take all original certificates and fee receipts. Failing to report in person during this window will result in the immediate cancellation of your allotted seat.
