Details Mentioned on INI CET 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result PDF

The merit list PDF contains columns generated by the AIIMS portal to ensure clarity across allocations. Ensure you verify the following details against your scorecard:

  • Roll Number: The unique identity number assigned for the entrance exam.
  • Overall Rank: The All India Rank (AIR) secured by the candidate.
  • Category: The social category under which the candidate applied (UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PWBD).
  • Allotted Course: The specific specialty branch assigned (e.g., MD Radiodiagnosis, MS General Surgery).

What After INI CET 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment?

Unlike Round 1, there is no choice configuration for upgrading to a subsequent regular round. Because Round 2 is the final regular counseling round, candidates who have been fresh-allotted or have retained a seat must log directly into the PG Online Seat Allocation Portal between July 11 and July 16 to accept the seat.

The 3 Lakh Penalty: When Does it Apply

The Rs. 3 Lakh penalty is enforced by AIIMS New Delhi to prevent seat blocking and ensure that premium medical seats do not go to waste.

Failing to Join an Upgraded Round 2 Seat: If you chose an upgrade option after Round 1 and receive a new allocation in Round 2, your first seat is deleted. Skipping the new Round 2 seat triggers the ₹3 Lakh penalty.

Skipping Open Round Allocations: To enter the Open Round (Spot Counselling), you must deposit ₹3 Lakh upfront. If you are allotted any seat during this round and do not join, AIIMS forfeits your entire deposit.

Resigning Post-Admission: If you complete document verification and sign the admission bond but resign within six months of starting the course, you must pay ₹3 Lakh to retrieve your original certificates.

The “Free Exit” Exception: If you are freshly allotted a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 but completely ignore the portal and take no online action, you face no financial penalty; your seat is simply cancelled.
