OSSTET admit card 2026 out today: download hall ticket for September 30 exam

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, activated the download link for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) Admit Card 2026 on September 20, 2026. Candidates appearing for the OSSTET 2026, scheduled for September 30, 2026, can now access their hall tickets from the official websites, bseodisha.nic.in and bseodisha.ac.in.

The OSSTET 2026 examination is a crucial step for aspiring secondary teachers in Odisha, with the admit card serving as a mandatory document for entry to the test centers across various districts including Angul, Balangir, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Puri, and Cuttack.

OSSTET 2026 Examination Details

The OSSTET 2026 examination is set to take place on September 30, 2026, in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The test will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes) and will be conducted in an offline/OMR-based mode. There will be no negative marking in the OSSTET 2026 exam, with candidates receiving one mark for every correct response.

The examination covers various categories of Trained Graduate Teachers, including Science (PCM and CBZ), Arts, Hindi, Classical Languages (Urdu, Telugu, and Sanskrit), and Physical Education. Paper I of the OSSTET is designed for TGT posts, while Paper II is for Physical Education posts. The exam will assess both teaching aptitude and subject knowledge relevant to the respective teaching positions.

Admit Card Download and Exam Day Instructions

To download the OSSTET Admit Card 2026, candidates are required to use their login credentials, typically a registered mobile number, on the official BSE Odisha portals. The admit card will contain essential details such as the candidate’s name, photograph, date of birth, signature, examination venue, date, time, and roll number.

On the day of the examination, candidates must carry a printed copy of their OSSTET Admit Card 2026 along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam center. It is advised that candidates reach the examination center at least 30–45 minutes before the reporting time. Prohibited items at the exam center include electronic gadgets, study material, non-transparent food/water bottles, large wallets, handbags, and bulky jewelry.

Overview of OSSTET and BSE Odisha’s Role

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, is the body corporate responsible for regulating, controlling, and developing Secondary Education in the State of Odisha, constituted under the Odisha Secondary Education Act, 1953. The BSE Odisha conducts the OSSTET to determine the eligibility of candidates for secondary teacher positions across the state.

Along with OSSTET, the BSE Odisha also conducts the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1st to 8th. The OTET Admit Card 2026 was released on June 17, 2026, for the exam scheduled on July 5, 2026. More than 84,000 candidates registered for the OTET 2026, which also has no negative marking and offers a lifetime validity for its certificate.
