ReNEET 2026 OMR Sheet Challenge Window Closed on 15 July (11 AM): What are the Next Steps?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) officially closed the ReNEET OMR response challenge window today, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The ReNEET 2026 OMR Sheets were released on the official website on July 13, 2026. Applicants challenge the released OMR sheets by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200 per objection.

All challenged responses are immediately handed over to a dedicated panel of subject matter experts appointed by the agency. This panel will cross-verify the scanned OMR data against the original physical records. If an error by the scanning agency is confirmed, the system update will apply uniformly to all relevant candidate data. If no discrepancies are found, the recorded responses stand as final.

ReNEET 2026 Result Date: When Will NTA Announce Scores?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the ReNEET 2026 result on or before July 20, 2026, as per the tentative timeline shared by senior officials. The results are being processed on a priority basis to keep the MCC NEET UG counselling schedule on track and avoid further delays.

Once announced, candidates will be able to download their individual scorecards from the official ReNEET portal using their login credentials. The final result will be prepared after reviewing all valid OMR sheet challenges submitted by candidates.

Will NTA Release the ReNEET 2026 Final Answer Key Before the Result?

Yes. Following institutional practice, the NTA will finalize the answer key after factoring in valid inputs from both the Answer Key Challenge window (which closed on June 28) and today’s OMR window closure. The ReNEET 2026 Final Answer Key is typically published a few hours prior to or simultaneously with the compilation of the final scores and All India Ranks (AIR).

ReNEET 2026 Marking Scheme and OMR Evaluation Process

The calculation of the final score follows the standard NEET UG evaluation matrix:

Response Type Marks Awarded
Correct Response +4 marks
Incorrect Response -1 mark
Unanswered / Marked for Review 0 marks
Multiple Bubbles Marked for One Question -1 mark (treated as an incorrect response)

The final ReNEET 2026 scorecard will include the candidate’s raw score (out of 720), percentile, All India Rank (AIR), and category rank
