RRB NTPC undergraduate CBT 2 answer key out: raise objections by 30 September

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released the provisional answer key, response sheet, and question paper for the RRB NTPC Undergraduate CBT 2 exam 2026 on September 24, 2026. The objection window for candidates to challenge provisional answers was activated simultaneously and will remain open until September 30, 2026, at 11:55 PM.

This release allows candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test 2 (CBT 2) to check their responses, calculate probable scores, and submit objections against any discrepancies. The CBT 2 exam for CEN 07/2025 (Undergraduate level) was conducted on September 17, 2026, with 45,898 candidates appearing for 3,058 vacancies across posts such as Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Trains Clerk.

Accessing Answer Keys and Raising Objections

Candidates can access their CBT 2 questions, recorded responses, and answer keys by logging in to the official regional RRB websites or the common official RRB website (rrb.indianrailways.gov.in, rrb.digialm.com). The login requires a candidate’s registration number and date of birth or password. The link for viewing these documents and submitting objections became active on September 24, 2026, at 11:55 PM.

Objections can be submitted against questions, options, or keys. A fee of ₹50 per question, plus applicable bank service charges, is required for each objection. Payment modes include UPI, Net Banking, Debit Card, and Credit Card. If an objection is found to be correct, the fee paid for that valid objection will be refunded, after deduction of applicable bank charges, to the account from which the online payment was made.

Exam Structure and Marking Scheme

The RRB NTPC UG CBT 2 examination comprises 120 questions, carrying a total of 120 marks. Each correct response is awarded 1 mark. There is a negative marking of one-third of a mark for every incorrect response. No marks are added or deducted for unanswered questions. The CBT 2 exam carries more weight than CBT 1 for the final merit list for many posts.

The application fee for the RRB NTPC exam was ₹500 for General/OBC categories and ₹250 for reserved categories. The RRB NTPC Undergraduate result was released on August 24, 2026, following the CBT 1 exams held between May 7, 2026, and June 20, 2026. The RRB NTPC UG CBT 2 Result 2026 is expected in the first week of October 2026.
