The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the provisional answer key for the RRB Technician Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3 examinations conducted under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 02/2026. The answer key was published on 15 October 2026, allowing candidates to review their responses and the provisional answers.

Alongside the release, the RRBs have opened an objection window, enabling candidates to challenge any discrepancies they identify in the questions or answer options. This facility is available from 15 October 2026 and will close at 11:55 PM on 22 October 2026, providing a limited period for candidates to submit their representations.

Objection Process and Fee Structure

Candidates can access their questions, responses, and the provisional answer keys through the official websites of the respective Railway Recruitment Boards and the central portal, rrbapply.gov.in. To raise an objection against a question or answer option, candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹50 per question, on top of applicable bank service charges. Payment can be made using debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.

The RRBs have stated that if an objection is found to be correct upon review, the fee paid for that specific objection will be refunded to the candidate. This refund, after deducting applicable bank charges, will be credited to the same account from which the online payment was originally made. The final answer key will be released after all objections have been reviewed, and the RRB Technician Result 2026 will be based on this final key.
