The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), in collaboration with the Department of Technical Education (DTE), has officially commenced the TG ICET 2026 Phase 1 counselling registration and slot booking process. Candidates who successfully qualified in the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET 2026) for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs across Telangana state universities and private colleges can now complete their online registration, pay the processing fee, and reserve their preferred slot for document verification.

The slot booking portal was officially activated on July 31, 2026, on the official website: tgicet.nic.in. Candidates are advised to complete their registration and slot booking promptly, as the window for Phase 1 registration will remain open only until August 5, 2026.

TG ICET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling: Key Schedule & Deadlines

To ensure a smooth admission process, TGCHE has released a detailed timeline for Phase 1 counselling. Candidates must strictly adhere to the following key dates:

Processing Fee and Eligibility Rules

Before proceeding with slot booking, candidates must clear the non-refundable counselling processing fee online using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI:

• General / OC / BC Candidates: ₹1,200

• SC / ST Candidates: ₹600

Basic Academic Eligibility

• Qualifying Score: Candidates from the Unreserved (OC/BC) category must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying bachelor’s degree. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories require a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

• Local Category Reservation: 85% of total seats in state universities and affiliated colleges are reserved for local candidates belonging to the Osmania University (O.U.) region, with 15% open seats available.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Complete TG ICET Slot Booking

Candidates must complete the registration and slot reservation process online before attending document verification. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the Official Portal: Navigate to tgicet.nic.in.

2. Pay Processing Fee: Click on the “Payment of Processing Fee” link. Enter your TG ICET Hall Ticket Number, Registration Number, Rank, and Date of Birth. Select your payment mode and complete the transaction.

3. Select Helpline Centre (HLC): Once fee payment is confirmed, proceed to the “Slot Booking” tab.

4. Choose Date and Time Slot: Select your nearest or preferred Help Line Centre (HLC), along with a convenient date and time slot between August 1 and August 5, 2026, for document verification.

5. Print Slot Slip: Download and print the slot booking confirmation slip, as it is required upon arrival at the Help Line Centre.

Essential Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must physically report to their chosen Help Line Centre at the scheduled date and time with all original certificates along with two sets of self-attested photocopies:

• TG ICET 2026 Rank Card and Hall Ticket

• Aadhaar Card

• SSC (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) Marks Memos / Pass Certificates

• Degree Provisional Certificate and Consolidated Marks Memorandum

• Study / Bonafide Certificates from Class 9 to Graduation

• Transfer Certificate (TC)

• Integrated Community Certificate / Caste Certificate (if applicable)

• Latest Income Certificate issued on or after January 1, 2026 (if applicable for fee reimbursement)

• EWS Certificate valid for 2026–27 (if applicable)

What Follows Certificate Verification?

Only candidates who successfully complete physical document verification will receive login credentials via SMS to access the web options entry module starting August 3, 2026. Candidates are strongly advised to select maximum college and stream preferences in order of priority before options freeze on August 8, 2026. Seat allotment results for Phase 1 will be declared on or before August 11, 2026.

For candidates who miss Phase 1 or wish to upgrade their seats, the TG ICET Final Phase counselling will commence on August 17, 2026.
