UP ITI 3rd merit list 2026 out: report to government ITIs by 25 September

The State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Uttar Pradesh, today, 21 September 2026, released the third round allotment result for admissions to Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) for the 2026 academic session. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in this round are required to complete their admission formalities by 25 September 2026. The results are accessible on the official admission portal, admissionscvtup.in.

This marks a significant stage in the UP ITI admission process, which commenced with online applications on 11 July 2026. The state has over 300 government ITIs and more than 2,900 registered private ITIs, offering over 50 lakh annual seats across more than 80 trades. The admission process is based on 10th class merit.

Third Round Allotment and Reporting Deadline

The third round allotment result specifically pertains to Government ITIs for the 2026 admission cycle. Candidates can check their allotment status on admissionscvtup.in by providing their registration number and date of birth. The deadline for reporting to the respective ITIs for admission for these selected candidates is 25 September 2026.

For context, the second round allotment result for Private ITIs was released four days ago, and the last date for reporting for admission under that round was 17 September 2026. The first allotment result for UP ITI Admission 2026 was released on 26 or 27 August 2026, with the admission process for selected candidates in that round concluding on 4 September 2026.

Application Process and Eligibility Criteria

The online application window for UP ITI Admission 2026 opened on 11 July 2026, and concluded on 07 August 2026, which was also the last date for fee payment. Application fees were set at Rs. 300 for General and OBC candidates, Rs. 250 for SC and ST candidates, and Rs. 100 for all female candidates.

Eligibility criteria for admission included a minimum age of 14 years as of 01 August 2026. Candidates were required to have passed Class 8th or Class 10th (High School) from any recognized board in India. Admission is granted based on 10th class merit, without an entrance examination.

Fee Structure and Institutional Overview

Government ITIs charge a tuition fee of ₹40 per month, along with a security deposit of ₹300. Uttar Pradesh hosts over 300 government ITIs and more than 2,900 registered private ITIs. These institutions collectively offer over 50 lakh annual seats across more than 80 different trades, providing vocational training opportunities to a large number of students.

The UP ITI Result 2026 for NCVT and SCVT examinations was released on 10 August 2026. The first merit list for UP ITI Admission 2026 was expected in mid-August, while the third merit list was anticipated in September 2026, aligning with the current release.
