Why are the RBSE Class 10th Results being declared early?
The Rajasthan government has directed all schools to begin the new academic session 2026-27 from April 1st this year onwards. This decision has been taken to ensure a smooth transition for students to complete admissions and stream selection decisions.
Earlier, the result was initially planned to be taken out on 20 March. However, due to some minor irregularities, the decision to postpone results had to be taken. Thus the results are out o 24th March 2026.
What do the Early Class 10 Results Mean for Students?
An early result declaration gives Class 10 students more time to:
- Choose their stream for Class 11
- Complete school admissions
- Prepare for the new session starting April 1
This is especially beneficial for students aiming for competitive exams or those planning to take the second attempt in 2027 under the new system.
The entire education department is working around the clock to ensure the result is error-free and is released on the promised date. Students and parents are requested to stay patient. And please avoid falling for any fake result links that may appear on social media.

RBSE Class 10 Board Exams: Major Changes Coming in 2027
In a major policy shift announced by RBSE, starting from the academic session of 2027-28, the class 10th board exams will be conducted two times in a year.
The first session will be conducted in February 2028, and the second session will happen in May 2028. And this pattern will follow for succeeding years.
In both sessions, the full RBSE Class 10th syllabus will be covered. Students will get a chance to improve their marks in a maximum of 3 subjects in the second attempt. Those who will miss the first exam due to valid reasons will be able to appear in the second session with proper approval.
The RBSE has introduced the concept of “Best of Two Attempts”. In this concept, the better score from the two attempts will be considered for the final result. There will be no change in examination fees or, that matter, the exam pattern.
