RRB NTPC CBAT, CBTST city intimation slip 2026 out: download for September exams

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on September 21, 2026, released the city intimation slip for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) 2026. The city intimation slip for the Computer-Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) was released earlier, on September 14, 2026. These slips are available for candidates who qualified for RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 and are eligible to appear for these exams.

The release of these slips aims to provide candidates with advance information regarding their allotted exam city, date, and shift timings, enabling them to plan their travel and accommodation accordingly. Candidates can access these slips through the official website of their respective RRB regional board, including rrbcdg.gov.in, by logging in with their registration number/user ID and password or date of birth.

Upcoming RRB NTPC CBAT and CBTST Examinations

The CBTST exam is scheduled to take place on September 24, 2026, while the CBAT exam is slated for September 30, 2026. The city intimation slip contains essential details such as the candidate’s full name, registration number, exam name, exam city and state, shift details, reporting time, gate closing time, category, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) status.

The city intimation slip is for planning purposes only and does not serve as an entry pass to the examination hall. The RRB NTPC CBAT/CBTST Admit Card 2026 for Graduate Level posts will be released separately. The admit card for CBTST will be available on September 20, 2026, and for CBAT on September 26, 2026. Candidates are required to carry their admit card along with a valid ID proof to the exam center.

Previous Releases for Undergraduate and Graduate Level Posts

Earlier this year, the RRB had released city intimation slips for various other NTPC examinations. The RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam City Slip 2026 for undergraduate-level posts was released on September 7, 2026. The CBT 2 exam for these posts was conducted on September 17, 2026, with exam timings from 9 am to 10:30 am, a reporting time of 07:30 AM, and a gate closing time of 08:30 AM. The admit card for the undergraduate CBT 2 exam was released on September 13, 2026.

For graduate-level posts (CEN 06/2025), the RRB NTPC City Intimation Slip 2026 was fully released and available for download by March 18, 2026. The CBT-1 city intimation slips were issued in phases from March 7, 2026, with final phases activated by March 17, 2026. The CBT-1 exams were scheduled across nine days in March 2026 (March 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 27), with three shifts daily. There are 5,810 Graduate Level Posts under CEN 06/2025, for which 2,589,978 applications were received.

Undergraduate Level Posts (CEN 07/2025) Intimation

The RRB NTPC UG City Intimation Slip 2026 was released on April 27, 2026, for candidates who applied for 3058 Undergraduate level posts (CEN 07/2025). These slips were for exams scheduled from May 7 to May 9, 2026. The e-call letters (admit cards) for these exams were made available four days prior to the scheduled exam date. Aadhaar-enabled biometric verification is a mandatory step at the examination centers for these tests.

Candidates are advised to download their exam city slip without delay and make necessary travel and stay arrangements. No changes to the exam date, city, shift, or center are permitted. Regular checks of the official websites of their regional RRBs are recommended for further announcements and updates regarding the final admit card and other exam-related information.
