OSSC CHSL admit card 2026 out: download hall ticket for September 24 exam

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the admit cards for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level or Equivalent Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts/Services. Candidates appearing for the preliminary examination, scheduled for September 24, 2026, can now download their hall tickets from the official website, ossc.gov.in.

The download link for the OSSC CHSL Admit Card 2026 for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level was activated on September 19, 2026. This examination, under Advertisement No. 728/OSSC, aims to fill 124 specialist vacancies across various posts.

OSSC CHSL Preliminary Examination Details

The preliminary examination for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level or Equivalent Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts/Services-2025 will be conducted in Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode on September 24, 2026. The examination will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions, carrying a total of 150 marks. Candidates will be allotted 150 minutes (2.5 hours) to complete the test.

The OSSC CHSL exam will be held in three shifts: the first shift from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., the second shift from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., and the third shift from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for every incorrect response. Approximately five times the total vacancies will be shortlisted for the Mains stage of the OSSC CHSL selection process.

Admit Card Download and Exam Day Instructions

To download the admit card, candidates must visit ossc.gov.in and use their login details, which include their registration number, user ID or registered contact detail, and password or date of birth. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card to the examination centre.

Besides the admit card, candidates must also present an original valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. The OSSC advises candidates to reach the examination centre at least one hour before the reporting time and refrain from carrying any electronic devices or prohibited items.

Recruitment Drive and Selection Process

The OSSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 drive aims to fill 124 specialist vacancies. These posts include Amin, Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant, and Junior Forensic Attendant, with 15 posts for Amin, 15 for Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant, and 94 for Junior Forensic Attendant. The selection process for the OSSC CHSL comprises a Preliminary Exam, a Technical Main Written Exam, and Document Verification.

For context, the OSSC also conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examinations. The OSSC CGL 2026 admit card was released on April 10, 2026, for the prelims exam held on April 19, 2026. After that, the OSSC CGL Mains Admit Card 2026 was released on June 30, 2026, for the Mains exam scheduled for July 7 and 8, 2026. The OSSC CGL Mains exam, conducted in pen-and-paper mode across 30 districts of Odisha, shortlisted 8037 candidates for 1,576 vacant posts.
