The wait is finally over for thousands of students who appeared for the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE) 2026.

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has officially announced the results for the Phase 1 Entrance Exam today, April 23, 2026.

Students can now access their scorecards and rank cards directly through the official KIIT admission portal.

The Phase 1 exams were conducted from April 16 to April 20, 2026, across various centers, serving as the gateway for admissions into B.Tech, Law, Management, and several other undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

How to Check KIITEE 2026 Phase 1 Results?

KIIT has made the result-checking process straightforward for candidates. To view your performance, follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to kiitee.kiit.ac.in.

  2. Locate the Result Link: On the homepage, look for the link titled “KIITEE 2026 Phase 1 Result” or “Download Scorecard.”

  3. Enter Credentials: You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth (as per your registration).

  4. View & Download: Once logged in, your marks and rank will be displayed on the screen. Download the PDF and take a clear printout for future reference.

Understanding Your Scorecard

The KIITEE scorecard is a vital document for the upcoming admission stages. It isn’t just a list of marks; it contains specific details that you must verify:

  • Candidate’s Name and Application Number

  • Section-wise marks obtained

  • Total Marks

  • Merit Rank: This is the most crucial factor for seat allotment.

  • Qualifying Status: Whether you are eligible for the counseling rounds.

Note: If you find any discrepancy in your personal details on the scorecard, contact the KIIT admission cell immediately at their official helpdesk.

What Happens After Phase 1 Results?

Now that the results are out, the focus shifts to the counseling process. KIIT follows a merit-based admission system. Based on the ranks obtained in Phase 1, the university will release a counseling schedule.

1. Counseling & Choice Filling

Qualified candidates must participate in the online counseling process. This involves “Choice Filling,” where you select your preferred branch (e.g., Computer Science, Electronics, Law) in order of priority.

2. Seat Allotment

The seat allotment is done based on your rank and the availability of seats in your chosen branch. The provisional allotment for Phase 1 is expected to be released in early May 2026.

3. Document Verification and Fee Payment

Once a seat is allotted, candidates must pay the admission fee (typically including a registration fee of ₹10,000 and a portion of the tuition fee) via Demand Draft or online modes as specified. You will also need to upload or present original documents like your 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets, KIITEE rank card, and admit card.

Missed Phase 1? There’s Still a Chance

If you didn’t perform as expected or missed the Phase 1 application deadline, don’t worry. KIITEE 2026 is conducted in multiple phases.

  • Phase 2 Exams: Scheduled for June 4 to June 8, 2026.

  • Phase 3 Exams: Scheduled for July 5 to July 7, 2026.

Candidates who appeared in Phase 1 but want to improve their scores are often eligible to apply for subsequent phases, though it is advised to check the official guidelines regarding multiple attempts for the current academic year.
