AIBE XXII 2026 exam is set to be conducted on November 29, 2026. Registrations for the same are expected to begin on 19th August 2026 and close by 27 October 2026. Recently, AIBE 21 exam results 2026 were released by BCI on 18th July 2026 on the official website. The exam was conducted on 7th June 2026.

AIBE 22 Registration 2026: How to Apply

Online registration for AIBE 22 will begin on August 19, 2026. Candidates must complete their applications by October 27, 2026, and ensure fee payment by October 28, 2026. An application correction window will be available until October 30, 2026.

  3. Register by providing the required personal and academic details.
  4. Fill out the AIBE 22 application form accurately.

AIBE 22 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the Bar Council of India’s eligibility requirements before applying for AIBE 22. Final-semester law students without backlogs are also eligible to register.

  • Hold a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. degree from a BCI-recognised university or a BCI-approved affiliated college.
  • Be enrolled with a State Bar Council in India as per the Advocates Act, 1961.
  • Final-semester law students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. are eligible to apply, provided they have no backlogs from previous semesters.
  • Candidates whose law degree is not recognised by the BCI or who are not enrolled with a State Bar Council are not eligible to appear for AIBE 22

The AIBE 22 exam will be conducted in offline mode with 100 multiple-choice questions, and candidates must secure the prescribed qualifying marks to pass.

AIBE Examination: Background and Purpose

The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a mandatory certification examination for law graduates who seek to practice as advocates in India. Successfully clearing AIBE is essential to obtain a Certificate of Practice (CoP) from the Bar Council of India.

The BCI now conducts the AIBE exam twice a year. The result for the previous examination, AIBE-XXI, which was conducted on June 07, 2026, was declared on July 18, 2026. Online registration for AIBE-XXI had commenced on February 11, 2026.

The AIBE 21 exam registration fees were INR 3,560 for General and OBC categories, and INR 2,560 for reserved categories. The BCI stated, “The Bar Council of India (BCI) is pleased to announce that the result of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE-XXI), conducted on 07 June 2026, has been declared.”
