AP OAMDC Phase 2 web option entry deadline extended to September 25

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has extended the deadline for the AP OAMDC Phase 2 web option entry to September 25, 2026. This extension provides an opportunity for registered candidates to exercise or edit their degree college and course choices via the official portal, cap.apcfss.in, before the revised cut-off.

The decision also allows fresh candidates who were unable to participate in Phase 1 to register and apply for the second round of state degree admissions. This phase aims to fill seats that remained vacant after the initial round of allotments for various non-professional undergraduate degree courses.

Revised Schedule and Eligibility for Phase 2

The extension to September 25, 2026, applies to both the last date for web option entry and the last date to edit or freeze options. Candidates whose certificates have already been verified are eligible to participate. Fresh Class 12 pass-outs can also apply through Phase 2. However, applicants who joined a college in Phase 1 cannot register again. Candidates who did not report to their allotted college in Phase 1 are eligible to enroll afresh in Phase 2.

The web counselling process requires students to pay a processing fee before logging in to access the option entry page. Certificate verification through an assigned Help Line Centre is mandatory for all applicants. The Phase 2 seat allotment result is yet to be announced but will be published on cap.apcfss.in.

Processing Fees and Application Procedure

Candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee to participate in the web counselling. For OC and BC candidates, the processing fee is Rs. 1250, while SC and ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 650. This fee must be paid before candidates can log in to exercise their options.

The AP OAMDC system manages undergraduate admissions for non-professional degree courses, including popular programmes such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Voc, BMS, BHM, BFA, BPA, and select 5-year integrated postgraduate programmes. Schedule revisions, such as this extension, often occur due to high registration volumes, the need for additional verification days at help line centres, or technical updates to the portal.

Background of Admissions and Previous Phases

The AP EAMCET 2026 (APEAPCET) results were declared on July 1, 2026, with rank cards available from July 2, 2026. Phase 1 counselling registration for AP EAMCET 2026 ran from July 20 to 29, 2026, and web options entry was conducted from July 25 to 31, 2026. The Phase 1 seat allotment for AP EAMCET 2026 was declared on August 9, 2026, with reporting to colleges from August 10 to 15, 2026.

For the APEAPCET-2026 Bi.P.C stream, the first phase of web counselling commenced with online payment of processing fee cum registration from August 12 to 20, 2026. Online certificate verification for this stream was conducted from August 13 to 20, 2026. Option entry was available from August 17 to 23, 2026, with a date for changing options on August 24, 2026. Seat allotment for the Bi.P.C stream occurred on August 27, 2026, followed by self-reporting and reporting at colleges from August 28 to 31, 2026. Class work for this stream commenced on August 28, 2026.
