Jharkhand NEET MDS 2026: Register by Oct 7; Edit choices by 11:59 PM

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has initiated Round 3 registration for Jharkhand NEET MDS 2026 state quota counselling. Prospective candidates for postgraduate dental seats can complete online form filling and document uploading until today, October 7, 2026. Choice editing for registered candidates is also available until 11:59 PM on the same date.

This third round of counselling aims to fill vacant postgraduate dental state quota seats in government and private dental colleges across Jharkhand, utilising the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET MDS) 2026 results. The registration process is entirely online, accessible through the official JCECEB portal, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.

Registration and Choice Filling Process

Candidates must register, fill their choices, and pay the counselling fee online. To apply, individuals need to visit jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, locate and click the NEET MDS 2026 Round 3 registration link, input their NEET MDS roll number and personal details, and then proceed with fee payment. After filling their preferred choices, candidates must lock and save their list and download the confirmation page for future reference. Fresh candidates are eligible to participate in Round 3, as are those who did not join in earlier rounds.

Eligibility criteria mandate that candidates must have qualified NEET MDS 2026, meet Jharkhand state domicile rules set by JCECEB, hold a valid Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree, and have completed their compulsory rotatory internship, adhering to Dental Council of India norms.

Required Documents and Seat Allotment

Applicants are required to upload several documents during the online registration process. These include the NEET MDS 2026 scorecard and admit card, BDS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, Jharkhand domicile certificate, caste/category certificate (if applicable), a valid government photo ID, recent passport size photograph, and signature. The latest seat matrix detailing vacant state quota MDS seats is available on the JCECEB portal.

JCECEB will prepare the seat allotment list based on merit, category, and the candidates’ choice preference order. Allotted candidates are required to report to their assigned college within the stipulated timeframe; failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their seat. Round 3 is typically the final full counselling stage before any subsequent stray vacancy rounds.

Key Dates for Jharkhand NEET MDS 2026 Round 3

The schedule for the third round of online counselling has been published by JCECEB, with specific dates for various activities. The publication of the provisional state merit list is set for October 8, 2026, followed by a window for objections on October 9, 2026. The final state merit list will also be released on October 9, 2026. Online registration and choice filling for seat allotment will take place from October 10 to October 12, 2026. The provisional seat allotment letters will be issued on October 13, 2026, with document verification and admission at the concerned institutes scheduled from October 14 to October 19, 2026.

Previous Counselling Rounds Overview

The current Round 3 follows the completion of two prior counselling rounds. The Jharkhand NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 2 Final State Merit List was released on September 24, 2026. Online choice filling and locking for Round 2 occurred from September 24 to September 26, 2026, with provisional seat allotment letters issued on September 27, 2026. Document verification and college admission for Round 2 concluded on September 30, 2026.

For Round 1, the online application process for the preparation of the Jharkhand State Merit List commenced on August 21, 2026, and concluded on August 23, 2026. The Final State Merit List for Round 1 was published on August 27, 2026. Online registration and choice filling for Round 1 took place from August 29 to August 30, 2026, with provisional seat allotment letters issued on September 1, 2026. Document verification and admission for Round 1 were conducted from September 2 to September 7, 2026.
