BBDU enrollment form submission extended for 2026-27 session

Babu Banarasi Das University (BBDU) in Lucknow announced on September 22, 2026, an extension for the enrollment form submission deadline for the 2026-27 academic session. This extension specifically benefits newly admitted first-year and second-year lateral entry students.

However, the university notice explicitly states that Dental and Ph.D. students are not included in this extension. The official notification regarding this change is accessible on the university’s notices portal.

Eligibility for Enrollment Extension

The extended deadline for enrollment form submission is applicable solely to students who have recently secured admission as first-year candidates or through the second-year lateral entry route for the 2026-27 session. This measure aims to provide additional time for these specific student groups to complete their enrollment formalities.

Students pursuing Dental and Ph.D. programs are required to adhere to their previously communicated deadlines, as the current extension does not apply to their respective enrollment processes. B.Tech Admissions at BBDU

BBDU offers 4-year full-time B.Tech degrees, alongside 3-year Lateral Entry options. The admission process for the 2026 B.Tech session had an application window from April 20, 2026, to May 30, 2026. Eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission require candidates to have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, or Biotechnology as optional subjects.

Minimum marks for B.Tech admission are set at 50% aggregate for General/OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidates. Admissions are primarily based on JEE Main scores, with some seats allocated through UPTAC. Merit-based entry is also available for certain seats based on Class 12 merit scores. The online application fee for B.Tech was ₹1000 for General/OBC and ₹800 for SC/ST candidates.

Academic fees are paid after registration, eligibility checks, and document verification are completed for final admissions. It is noted that course fees are subject to change over time. The university previously released results for Main and COP’s for Even Semester Examination 2025-26 on July 7, 2026. A notice for Re-Admission & Ex-Student in 2025-26 with a date extension was also issued on September 1, 2026.
