The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) released the Bihar NEET UG Round 2 provisional seat allotment result 2026 today, September 25, 2026. The result is available on the UGMAC portal of bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. This allotment is for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other applicable courses under the Bihar Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) process.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 2 must download their allotment order between September 25 and September 29, 2026. Following this, document verification and admission procedures are scheduled to take place from September 27 to September 29, 2026. The Round 2 choice-filling window had previously closed on September 21, 2026, and the Bihar NEET UG Round 2 rank card was released on September 20, 2026.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling Process and Fees

The Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 is conducted by BCECEB under the UGMAC 2026 section. The process includes online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college for admission and verification. Candidates who registered for Round 1 are not required to register again for Round 2.

A non-refundable registration and counselling fee applies to candidates. For Unreserved, EWS, BC, and EBC applicants, this fee is INR 1,200. SC, ST, and DQ candidates are required to pay INR 600. For admission to private colleges, all candidates must pay a non-refundable registration and counselling fee of INR 1,200.

Bihar has a total of 21 medical colleges, comprising 12 government and 9 private institutions, and 7 dental colleges, with 2 government and 3 private facilities. There are approximately 2,830 MBBS, 200 BDS, and 155 BV Sc. & AH seats available through this counselling process.

Specifically, there are 2,482 MBBS seats in Bihar, with 1,232 in government colleges and 1,250 in private colleges. For BDS courses, there are 315 seats in total, including 115 in government dental colleges and 200 in private dental colleges. Eligibility Criteria and Key Dates

To be eligible for Bihar NEET UG Counselling, candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026 with the minimum required marks. They must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2026, and have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. The minimum marks required are 50% for the General category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PWD candidates.

Residency requirements state that the candidate’s parents must be residents of Bihar, Bihar government employees, or Bihar refugees. NRI students are eligible if their parents worked for the Bihar government or resided in Bihar. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) also released its NEET UG 2026 Round 2 provisional seat allotment result on September 10, 2026, covering 15% All India Quota seats, Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC institutes, AIIMS, JIPMER, and other participating institutions.
