This admission opportunity is primarily aimed at NEET-UG aspirants who may have missed earlier counselling rounds or are seeking to secure an MBBS or related health-science seat during the stray vacancy or supplementary admission phase. MGUG, established in August 2021, is the first private university in the Purvanchal region to offer medical and health-science education, having expanded its offerings from 12 initial courses to 53 specialized programs.

Application Process and Eligibility

Prospective students must apply online via the official portal, www.mgug.ac.in, by the November 30, 2026 deadline. The application process involves registering with personal details, filling academic qualifications, choosing program preferences, and uploading required documents such as a passport-sized photo and signature. All programs offered by MGUG are approved by regulatory bodies including the National Medical Commission (NMC), Indian Nursing Council (INC), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Admission to all programs is generally conducted through a Combined Entrance Test administered by MGUG. The university reserves the right to manage admissions to vacant seats, with specific guidelines available on its website. Eligibility criteria vary by program, with details for specific courses outlined in the university’s prospectus.

Combined Entrance Test Structure

The Combined Entrance Test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark, and will have a duration of 2 hours. There will be no negative marking in the examination. Candidates are required to report to their designated examination center at least one hour before the test commences.

The question paper will be structured as follows: 60% of the questions will be based on the syllabus of the candidate’s first preferred program, 20% will cover General studies, Current Affairs, Aptitude, and Reasoning, and the remaining 20% will focus on the Indian Knowledge-system, specifically drawing from the Ramayan and Mahabharat.

Admission, Fees, and Refund Policy

Following the entrance test, merit lists will be prepared based on candidate performance. Those on the merit list must then appear for counselling and document verification. Admission will only be confirmed after the successful deposit of program fees online during the counselling session and verification of all necessary documents.

MGUG offers a range of programs at diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, including MBBS, BAMS, B.Sc in nursing and health sciences, B.Pharma, ANM, GNM, DMLT, and M.Sc specializations. A refund policy is in place for admission cancellations: a deduction of ₹5,000 will be applied if a cancellation request is made within 7 days of taking admission. However, no fee will be refunded if the request is made after 7 days, or if admission was taken within 7 days of the last date of admissions.
