Board exam 2027 timetables out for UP, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh; CBSE soon

Several state education boards across India have announced the examination timetables for Class 10 and 12 board exams for the 2027 academic year. These announcements, made between July 13, 2026, and October 13, 2026, provide students in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu with their examination schedules.

The release of these schedules aims to give students ample time to prepare for their upcoming examinations. Boards like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) are expected to release their respective date sheets in the near future, impacting a significant number of candidates nationwide.

Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra Board Exam Schedules

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has scheduled its Class 10 and 12 examinations from February 5 to February 24, 2027. High School papers will be conducted in the morning shift, from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, while Intermediate papers will be held in the afternoon, from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. Hindi is designated as the first paper for both High School and Intermediate classes.

For Maharashtra, the State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced that Class 10 (SSC) written examinations will take place from February 15 to March 11, 2027. Practical, oral, and internal assessments for Class 10 are scheduled from January 28 to February 13, 2027. Class 12 (HSC) exams are set from February 8 to March 16, 2027, with practical, oral, and internal assessments from January 20 to February 6, 2027. According to Board Secretary Dr. Deepak Mali, the tentative Maharashtra Class 10 Board Exam Dates 2027 have been announced, with the detailed subject-wise timetable expected in November 2026. Hall tickets are anticipated to be released through schools in January 2027, and results in May 2027. Students must score at least 35% in each subject to pass the Maharashtra SSC exam.

Schedules for Southern and Western Indian Boards

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has announced that the Intermediate 1st year exam 2027 will be held from February 25 to March 16, 2027, and the Intermediate 2nd year exam 2027 from February 24 to March 15, 2027. In Tamil Nadu, the Class 10 public exams 2027 are scheduled from March 17 to April 12, 2027, while the HSC Class 12 exams will be conducted from March 3 to March 29, 2027.

For Karnataka, the School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has provisionally scheduled SSLC Exam 1 from March 22 to April 5, 2027, and SSLC Exam 2 from May 24 to May 31, 2027. The 2nd PUC Exam 1 is provisionally set from February 27 to March 17, 2027, with Exam 2 in May 2027. Karnataka papers will commence from 10 AM. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will conduct its SSC and HSC board exams from February 25 to March 17, 2027, with Class 12 Science practicals from February 5 to February 13, 2027.

Central and Eastern Board Updates

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has scheduled its Class 10 main exams from February 24 to March 18, 2027, in a single shift from 9 AM to 12 noon. Key Class 10 exams include Hindi on March 2, 2027, Mathematics on March 5, 2027, English on March 9, 2027, Science on March 15, 2027, and Social Science on March 18, 2027.

In West Bengal, the Class 10 Madhyamik exams are slated from February 15 to February 25, 2027, running from 11 AM to 2 PM, with an additional 15 minutes of reading time starting at 10:45 AM. The First Language exam is on February 15, 2027, Mathematics on February 22, 2027, Physical Science on February 23, 2027, and Life Science on February 24, 2027.

Anticipated Schedules for Other Boards

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce its Class 10 and 12 date sheets soon. CBSE Class 10 typically has two exams: Board Exam 1 in February and an optional Board Exam 2 in May. Class 12 will have a single board exam starting February 2027, with papers running across February–April 2027. Practical examinations for winter-bound CBSE schools are held in November-December, while for all other schools, they are in January-February. A tentative date sheet for CBSE is usually expected around late September, with admit cards released through schools in January–February 2027.

Other boards such as RBSE, JKBOSE, PSEB, TS Inter, and CISCE are also expected to release their examination schedules in the coming weeks. Students are advised to regularly check the official websites of their respective education boards for the latest updates and detailed subject-wise timetables. The registration deadline without a late fee for Maharashtra Class 10 is October 31, 2026.
