About Central University of Haryana
The Central University of Haryana was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, during the XI Five Year Plan (2007-2012) under the Central University Act-2009 of the Parliament. It is one of fifteen new Central Universities founded by the Ministry.
The university operates from its permanent campus, which spans 484 acres of land at Jant-Pali Villages in the Mahendergarh district. It is fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and currently offers a total of 91 academic programmes, encompassing undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels.

The Central University of Haryana received an ‘A’ Grade accreditation in the second cycle of NAAC assessment and accreditation, which was conducted in August 2023.
