The MHT CET 2026 examination, conducted in a two-session format across April and May, witnessed an never seen before surge in participation, with total registrations surpassing 11.64 lakh candidates. Approximately 7.75 lakh students applied for the engineering stream (PCM Group), leading to heightened competition for limited seats in top-tier institutions.

COEP MHT CET 2026 Round 4 Closing Percentiles

For MHT CET counselling Round 4, admissions to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) for the LOPEN category closed at 99.9503286 percentile, corresponding to a state rank of 267. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (E&TC) recorded a closing percentile of 99.8327645 for GOPENS, while Electrical Engineering closed at 99.5912170 percentile for GOPENS. Civil Engineering concluded Round 4 admissions at 99.3890785 percentile for GOPENS.

The MHT CET 2026 cutoff percentile is released separately for different categories, seat types, and counselling rounds. The COEP Technological University closed at a broad range of 4.65 to 99.98 percentile in 2026 for B.Tech admissions through MHT-CET across all categories. For B.Tech Electrical Engineering, the 2026 Round 4 closing percentile for the DEFOPENS category was 89.97.

CAP Round III Closing Percentiles and Admission Process

The MHT CET 2026 Cutoff — CAP Round III closing percentiles for COEP Technological University were updated on 24 August 2026.
