GGV CUET: Pay first round fees by August 6, 2026 for UG admission

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV) released the Common Merit List PDF for admission to its undergraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) on August 03, 2026. The university also published the GGV CUET counselling schedule on its official website, ggu.ac.in.

The merit list and counselling schedule were released for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who had submitted their GGV counselling registration form, had their details in the merit list, and met the university’s CUET UG eligibility criteria were eligible to participate in the counselling process. The CUET Result 2026 was declared on June 23, 2026.

GGV CUET Admission and Counselling Timeline

The online registration process for admission and counselling through the Samarth Portal was open from July 10, 2026, to July 27, 2026. The overall merit list of applicants and the merit list for the first round of fee submission were declared on August 03, 2026. Following this, candidates shortlisted in the first round were required to submit their fees online between August 04, 2026, and August 06, 2026.

The merit list for the second round of fee submission was declared on August 10, 2026, with online fee submission for this round scheduled from August 11, 2026, to August 13, 2026. Physical reporting and document verification for candidates from both the first and second rounds were completed by August 21, 2026. The university declared vacancies after physical verification and released a merit list for further admissions on August 25, 2026. Any required offline counselling took place on August 31, 2026, and classes for the 2026 session commenced on September 01, 2026.

Required Documents for UG Admissions

Candidates admitted to undergraduate programmes at GGV were required to present several documents for verification. These included 10th/HSC Marksheet, 12th/HSSC Marksheet, and Caste/PwD/EWS Certificates if applicable. A Gap Certificate was also required if applicable. Also, candidates needed their CUET UG Application Form and CUET UG Score Card 2026.

For fee payment, a mobile phone and a Debit/Credit Card with sufficient balance for the semester fee were necessary. Original Transfer Certificate (TC), Migration Certificate, Character Certificate, and other relevant documents were collected from admitted candidates before the next counselling round.

Understanding GGV CUET Cut Offs

The GGV CUET Cutoff 2026 was released during the university’s admission counselling process. The cutoff marks for admission vary each year, influenced by factors such as the total number of applicants, the difficulty level of the CUET UG exam, and the number of available seats in each course or programme. The cutoff is also category-wise, with different cutoffs for General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD candidates, reflecting the reservation policy.

The university releases cutoffs for different categories separately. The first round Merit List and Cut Off marks for admission into the B.Sc. in Rural Technology program for the academic session 2026–27 were officially released. Shortlisted candidates for B.Sc. Rural Technology were required to confirm admission by paying the required course fee within the stipulated timeline, as failure to deposit the fee within the specified window resulted in the cancellation of the provisional allotment.

Merit List Notices for Various UG Programmes

The common merit list notices for many undergraduate programmes were released on August 03, 2026. These included various Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Diploma in Pharmacy programmes. The release of these lists was a crucial step in the admission process for the academic year.
