GGV CUET: Pay UG 1st round fees by Aug 6; report by Aug 21

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV) released the GGV CUET Common Merit List PDF for admission to undergraduate programmes through CUET on August 03, 2026. The university also published the GGV CUET counselling schedule on its official website, ggu.ac.in, for the academic session 2026-27.

The release of the common merit list and counselling schedule impacts candidates who applied for undergraduate courses at the central university. Instead of releasing specific marks, the university provided a PDF document detailing the merit list for eligible candidates.

Admission and Counselling Process Overview

The admission process for GGV’s undergraduate programmes through CUET involved several stages, beginning with online registration. Candidates who submitted their GGV counselling registration form, had their details included in the merit list, and met the university’s CUET UG eligibility criteria were eligible to participate in the counselling process. The CUET Result 2026 was declared on June 23, 2026, preceding GGV’s admission activities.

The university commenced classes for the 2026 session on September 01, 2026. The detailed schedule for admissions and counselling rounds was made available on the official website.

Merit List Declaration and Fee Submission

The overall merit list of applicants and the merit list for submission of fees for the first round were declared on August 03, 2026. Following this, candidates shortlisted in the first round were required to submit their fees online between August 04, 2026, and August 06, 2026. Failure to deposit the fee within the specified window resulted in the cancellation of the provisional allotment.

A second round of the merit list for fee submission was declared on August 10, 2026, with the online fee submission window for this round open from August 11, 2026, to August 13, 2026. Physical reporting and verification of documents for candidates from both the first and second rounds were completed by August 21, 2026. Any vacancies after physical verification and subsequent merit lists for further admission were declared on August 25, 2026, with offline counselling, if necessary, held on August 31, 2026.

Required Documents for Admission

Candidates undertaking physical reporting and document verification were required to bring specific documents. These included original copies along with self-attested photocopies of their Class 10 and 12 marksheets, CUET scorecards, and category certificates if applicable. Other essential documents included Transfer Certificates (TC), Migration Certificates, and Character Certificates.

A Gap Certificate, if applicable, was also required. Candidates needed to bring their CUET UG Application Form, CUET UG Score Card 2026, a mobile phone, and a Debit/Credit Card with sufficient balance for semester fee payment. Original Transfer Certificate (TC), Migration Certificate, Character Certificate, and other relevant documents will be collected from admitted candidates before the next counselling round.

Understanding the GGV CUET Cutoff

The GGV CUET Cutoff 2026 was released during the university’s admission counselling process. The cutoff marks for admission vary each year, influenced by factors such as the total number of candidates who appeared in CUET UG, the difficulty level of the CUET UG exam 2026, the number of available seats in each course/programme, the reservation category of the candidate, and previous years’ cutoff trends and seat allotment. GGV releases cutoffs for different categories separately, including General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD candidates.

The first round Merit List and Cut Off marks for admission into the B.Sc. in Rural Technology program for the academic session 2026–27 were officially released on August 03, 2026. Shortlisted candidates for B.Sc. Rural Technology were required to confirm admission by paying the required course fee within the stipulated timeline.
