Gujarat NEET UG 2026: Pay Round 2 tuition fees online by September 18

The process for cancellation of admitted seats for UG MBBS/BDS courses was open on September 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The choice-filling deadline was extended to September 14 to allow candidates additional time to finalize their preferences.

Changes in Seat Matrix and Quota Rules

The National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi, approved an increase of 50 seats in the MBBS course at Ananya College of Medicine & Research, Kalol, Gandhinagar (College Code: ANAMED). These additional 50 seats were subsequently included in the second round of the MBBS/BDS admission process. The increased intake for Ananya College of Medicine & Research now stands at 200, up from 150, with 38 seats under Government Quota, 5 under Management Quota, and 7 under NRI Quota.

Regarding seat allocation, vacant reserved category seats were transferred to unreserved category seats during the second round of counselling. In addition, if any NRI seats remained vacant after the initial allocation, such seats were filled as Management quota seats with Management quota fees by ACPUGMEC. GMERS Medical Colleges and Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj, do not have Management quota seats but do offer NRI seats.
