HTET 2025 revised result after biometric verification, HBSE says today

The Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH), Bhiwani, announced today, September 29, 2026, that the revised Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025 results for Level 1 (PRT), Level 2 (TGT), and Level 3 (PGT) will be declared following biometric verification. This decision comes after a review of question papers and answer keys, prompted by representations received from candidates, to ensure fairness and transparency in the examination process.

The HTET 2025 examinations were conducted on July 4 and 5, 2026, with the original results announced on August 22, 2026. The revision process and subsequent biometric verification are critical steps before the final declaration of the revised results, affecting all candidates who appeared for the examination.

Revision of HTET 2025 Results

The BSEH initiated the revision process for the HTET 2025 results after receiving numerous representations from candidates regarding discrepancies in question papers and answer keys. This review was undertaken to uphold the principles of fairness and transparency in the teacher eligibility examination.

The board issued Circular No. 17 on September 17, 2026, specifically addressing complaints about answer key discrepancies. The revised results will be released only after the completion of the mandatory biometric verification process, as stated in a notice dated September 28, 2026, issued under Circular No. 19 and signed by the Secretary of the Haryana Board of School Education.

Compulsory Biometric Verification

Biometric verification is a mandatory step for all candidates who appeared in HTET 2025, as per Circular No. 20 issued by BSEH on September 29, 2026. Candidates whose results are revised and after that become eligible for verification, but have not yet completed the biometric process, will be provided with an additional opportunity to do so.

The board has not yet announced a specific date for the publication of the revised results. Details regarding the dates, venue, and other instructions for the upcoming biometric verification will be announced separately on the official BSEH website. Candidates are required to carry their original admit card and an original photo identity card for the verification process. BSEH has previously informed candidates about biometric verification through registered mobile numbers and email addresses.

Previous Biometric Verification Rounds and Upcoming Schedule

Several rounds of biometric verification for HTET 2025 have already been conducted. The initial verification took place from August 10 to August 12, 2026. A second opportunity for candidates with RLV (Result Late due to Verification) status was provided on August 30 and 31, 2026, at the BSEH Headquarters in Bhiwani.

An additional biometric verification round is scheduled for October 4, 2026, across designated centres in 22 districts of Haryana. Candidates must adhere to the instructions provided by the board for these verification sessions.

The BSEH reserves the right to withdraw revised examination results if any technical or other error occurs during uploading. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official BSEH website, bseh.org.in, for the latest updates on the biometric verification schedule and the declaration of revised results.
