HTET Result 2026 Declared at htet.eapplynow.com: Check Level 1, 2, and 3 Scorecards, Cut-Off Marks, and Next Steps

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has officially announced the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) Result 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their qualifying status and download their scorecards directly from the official portal at htet.eapplynow.com or the main board website, bseh.org.in.

The results have been released for all three levels: Level 1 for Primary Teachers (PRT), Level 2 for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Level 3 for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). Alongside the results, BSEH has also published the final answer keys for all papers after evaluating the objections raised by candidates in early July.

How to Check HTET Result 2026?

Candidates who took the exam can access their results online by following these simple steps:

  1. Visit the official HTET portal at htet.eapplynow.com or bseh.org.in.

  2. Click on the link that says “HTET Result 2026” or “To View Result” on the homepage.

  3. Select your exam level (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3).

  4. Enter your registration details, such as Application ID/Roll Number and Date of Birth.

  5. Click Submit to view your scorecard.

  6. Download the PDF and print a copy for future reference during recruitment rounds.

The downloaded scorecard contains critical information, including the candidate’s name, roll number, registration number, category, marks obtained in each section, total score out of 150, and overall qualifying status. Candidates are advised to verify all personal details printed on the document immediately.

Qualifying Marks and Cut-Off Criteria

To pass the HTET examination, candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks based on their category and domicile status:

Category Qualifying Percentage Marks Required (Out of 150)
General Category / Unreserved 60% 90 Marks
Candidates from States Other Than Haryana 60% 90 Marks
SC / ST / Differently Abled (Haryana Domicile Only) 55% 82 Marks

Candidates who fail to reach these threshold marks will not be granted the HTET eligibility certificate.

Key Highlights and Exam Statistics

The HTET 2026 examination took place on July 4 and July 5 across 383 designated examination centers in Haryana. The test was conducted offline using the pen-and-paper OMR format.

  • Total Candidates Registered: A total of 2,33,294 candidates registered for the test state-wide.

  • Gender Breakdown: Out of the total applicants, 1,66,137 were female candidates and 67,157 were male candidates.

  • Level 3 (PGT): Held for 73,091 applicants across 238 centers.

  • Level 2 (TGT): Attracted the largest turnout, with 1,19,141 candidates across 383 centers.

  • Level 1 (PRT): Conducted at 139 centers for 41,062 applicants.

Mandatory Next Step: Biometric Verification

Clearing the written examination is not the final step to receiving the HTET certificate. BSEH has made biometric verification mandatory for all candidates marked as qualified.

The biometric verification drive will take place from August 10 to August 12, 2026, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Designated verification centers have been set up in all 22 districts of Haryana.

  • Haryana Domicile Candidates: Must report to the designated biometric center in their home district.

  • Candidates from Outside Haryana: Can complete their biometric check at the designated center located in their first-preferred exam city or any designated state center.

Candidates must bring their original HTET admit card and a valid original government photo ID (such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Driving License). Digital copies, scans, or photocopies will not be accepted at the verification centers. Failing to complete biometric verification within the scheduled timeframe will result in the candidate’s result being put on hold or cancelled.

Certificate Validity and Future Prospects

Candidates who clear both the written test and the biometric verification will be issued the HTET Eligibility Certificate by BSEH. This certificate carries lifetime validity, allowing successful candidates to apply for teaching vacancies released by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) and state government schools for PRT, TGT, and PGT roles.

For candidates facing technical issues while logging in or noticing errors on their scorecards, BSEH has advised reaching out directly through the official helpline numbers listed on the board’s portal.
