IAF Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 answer key released: raise objections online

The Indian Air Force (IAF) today, September 26, 2026, released the provisional answer key for the Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 and Airmen Group ‘Y’ (Medical Assistant) Intake 02/2027 examinations. Candidates who appeared for the computer-based examination, held on September 22 and 23, 2026, can now access their respective answer keys, question papers, and individual response details through the official IAF recruitment website, iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in.

This release allows candidates to review the correct answers for all questions asked in the examination and estimate their probable scores. The online examination was conducted at various centres across the country, attracting numerous aspirants for both Agniveervayu and Airmen Group ‘Y’ (Medical Assistant) roles.

Accessing the Answer Key and Raising Objections

To view the provisional answer key, candidates must log in to the official portal using their User ID/Email ID and Password. The IAF has provided a specific link for this purpose on iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in. Along with the answer key, candidates can also download their question paper and individual responses.

The provisional nature of the answer key means that candidates have an opportunity to challenge any discrepancies they identify. Objections against the provisional answer key must be submitted online through a link provided by the IAF. You can’t ignore for candidates to adhere to the specified deadline, as objections submitted after the prescribed time will not be considered. An expert panel will then examine all valid challenges raised against the answer key.

Examination Process and Marking Scheme

The online examination for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 and Airmen Group ‘Y’ (Medical Assistant) Intake 02/2027 was a computer-based test conducted over two days, September 22 and 23, 2026. The notification for Intake 02/2027 was released on June 17, 2026, with online registration commencing on July 6, 2026, and concluding on July 26, 2026.

The marking scheme for the examination includes positive and negative marking. For every correct answer, candidates are awarded +1 mark, while an incorrect answer results in a deduction of -0.25 marks. Unattempted questions do not carry any marks. The estimated score derived from the provisional key should not be considered the final result, as the final or model answer key will be prepared after reviewing all objections and will be used for subsequent selection and result processing.

Key Dates and Application Details for Intake 02/2027

The application process for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 involved several stages, from notification release to the examination. The application fee for all categories of candidates, including General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST, was Rs. 550/-. Eligibility criteria included a minimum age of 17.5 years and a maximum age of 22 years, with candidates required to be born between July 1, 2005, and January 1, 2010 (both dates inclusive).

Admit cards for the examination were released 48-72 hours before the test dates. Candidates are advised to monitor the official portal for further announcements regarding the final results, cut-off marks, and subsequent phases of the recruitment process.
